Jagadguru Paramhans Acharya said on June 17 that Aam Aadmi Party and Congress approached him with money and promise of political posts and requested him to accuse Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra of corruption.

Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra is a trust in Ayodhya looking after “construction and management of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya”.

The parties offered him 100 crores rupees and the post of chief minister in Uttar Pradesh.

Recently, AAP’s Sanjay Singh had misinterpreted documents to accuse the Kshetra of corruption.

Samaj Wadi Party’s Pawan Pandey also joined Singh in accusing the Kshetra of corruption in a land deal.

It was later revealed that they were misrepresenting the facts to fool the gullible masses.

The assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh are approaching, and parties are gearing up to fight polls.

Regarding the land deal in Ayodhya, Kusum Pathak and Sultan Ansari & Ravi Mohan Tiwari signed an agreement in 2019 for the said piece of land at INR 2 crores. The actual transaction happened on March 18, 2021.

Sultan Ansari & Ravi Mohan Tiwari and the trust signed another agreement on March 18 this year for the same piece of land at INR 18.5 crores.

The two-crore price was decided for the said piece of land between Ansari & Tiwari and Pathak when the Ayodhya verdict was not out.

The trust is buying the land at INR 18.5 crores which is still less than the current market price of INR 20 crores.
