The Uttar Pradesh police have initiated action against Mohammed Zubair for allegedly muting the video of the thrashing of Abdul Samad Saifi and claiming he was thrashed for not chanting Jai Shri Ram.
When police traced the original video, there was no reference to Jai Shri Ram.
It was also revealed that another video, in which Saifi claimed he was thrashed for not chanting Jai Shri Ram, was shot in the house of one Samajwadi Party leader Umed Pahelwan.
In the police investigation, it was also revealed that the fight was over one tabiz which Saifi had sold claiming it would change the fortunes of the buyer.
Police arrested Parvesh for thrashing Saifi and are searching for Arif, Aadil, and Mushahid after identifying them from the original video.
