A rape victim committed suicide by jumping into a canal on Friday in Rajasthan’s Sri Ganganagar.

The victim accused police constable Maniram of raping her for a long time. She recorded a video just before suicide which has now gone viral on the internet.

The victim says in the video that Maniram has been raping her for a long time.

Maniram has been absconding.

A pregnant lady was gang-raped in an ambulance in Jaipur on Monday.

Rajasthan is under Covid-19 lockdown till June 8 which was imposed more than a month back.

On Friday, a doctor couple was shot dead in the middle of the road in broad daylight in Bharatpur.

The assailants waylaid the doctors’ car and pumped bullets in their heads.

Rajasthan’s Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is also the home minister of the state.

Heinous crimes in broad daylight under lockdown have shocked the people.
