Days after featuring in an advertisement video that reportedly mocked former Congress President Rahul Gandhi, comedian Sanket Bhosale has been booked by the police for violating Covid norms in Congress-ruled Punjab.

The comedian has been booked for violating Covid norms in his marriage on April 26 in Phagwara in Punjab.

Bhosale got married to TV actor Sugandha Mishra.

The couple has been booked under the Disaster Management Act and section 188 of Indian Penal Code.

Last month, a video of Storia Foods went viral. Bhosale has acted as Rahul Gandhi.

The Mumbai Congress President Bhai Jagtap led a mob of party workers and vandalised the corporate office of Storia Foods.

In a press release after the vandalism, Jagtap warned Storia Foods to remove the advertisement or face more consequences.

The party also released the video of vandalism.

Former Congress president and scion of the Nehru family, Rahul Gandhi, who otherwise is very active on social media platforms, maintained his silence on the issue.
