The leaders of the Congress party Tuesday vandalised the Mumbai office of Storia Foods & Beverages for an advertisement video.

The leaders alleged the video insulted the Congress President Sonia Gandhi and former President Rahul Gandhi.

After vandalising the office, the Mumbai Congress put out an official statement claiming the vandalism was carried out by the Congress workers on the instructions of Mumbai Congress President Bhai Jagtap.

It also claimed that general secretary of Mumbai Congress, Nitin Sawant, led the mob of Mumbai Congress and Mumbai Youth Congress.

Jagtap said, “The video is showing defamatory material about Sonai and Rahul Gandhi. We have taught Storia foods a very good lesson.”

He also added if the Storia Foods doesn’t apologise for the advertisement, they would face the consequences. He also threatened to shut down Storia Foods office.

Section 144 is in place in Maharashtra to contain the spread of the Covid-19 virus. The state reported more than 66000 cases Tuesday.
