A video surfaced on social media Friday in which a group of about 20 young men could be seen raising ‘Pakistan Jindabad’ slogans.

The video is from Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh.

The Uttar Pradesh Police registered an FIR in Ratanpuri police station in Muzaffarnagar and arrested six people.

The police are also looking for other people who could be seen in the video raising slogans.

The area is communally very sensitive. It had witnessed a massive riot in 2013 in which about 60 people had lost their lives.

On April 9, there were massive gathering of Muslims across Bharat after Friday prayers. There were slogans raised for the beheading of Dasana Devi Temple head priest Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati.

The police are yet to ascertain the reason for raising the slogans and posting the video on social media platforms.
