NIA to Investigate Businessman Mansukh Hiren Death Case

In a significant development, the National Investigation Agency will probe the murder of Mumbai businessman Mansukh Hiren.

The formal order for this was issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The Anti-Terror Squad of Maharashtra Police was investigating the case till now.

The Agency is already investigating the Mukesh Ambani Bomb Scare case.

It was Mansukh Hiren whose vehicle with gelatin sticks was parked near Ambani’s residence. Hiren’s wife had accused Mumbai Police official Sachin Waze of murdering the businessman.

After the vehicle with the bomb was found, Hiren’s body was found in a creek in Mumbai. Earlier, police had suspected it to be a case of suicide.

The case rocked the Maharashtra Assembly with the Leader of Opposition Devendra Fadnavis accusing the government of not doing a proper investigation in the case.
