Congress-Left alliance’s political decision to include the Islamist Abbas’ newly formed political outfit the ‘Indian Secular Front’ was widely criticised. Even their own leader Anand Sharma had spoken against such an unholy alliance. But the top brass of the Congress party stood by its decision to ally with ISF. But slowly, ISF has started to become a big embarrassment to the alliance.

Now, the police have recovered arms & bomb-making equipment from his residence in South 24 Parganas, reported ANI. “We conducted a search at Indian Secular Front (ISF) worker Ziarul Mollah’s house. We recovered shotgun & bombs & bomb-making equipment,” said the police.

Earlier, while addressing a press conference, BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra said, “Despite dissidents within the party, the Congress joined hands with the ISF and the Left Front in West Bengal. At the same time, Congress is fighting against the Left in Kerala. They are working to strike an alliance with Badaruddin Ajmal’s AIUDF in Asam and has joined hands with Shiv Sena in Maharashtra. This shows Congress has no ideology.”
