Indian Army and J&K Police in their ongoing relentless tempo of operations against Pakistan sponsored terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir recovered a big cache of weapons and stores in the hinterlands of the Reasi district of the Jammu region.

On 26 Feb input was received from a reliable source regarding suspicious activity in the remote dense jungle of Rusuwali in the Saldhar area in Reasi Distt. These warlike stores were in a well-concealed hideout in remote uninhabited forests of Rusuwali in the South of Pir Panjal Ranges.

This joint operation between the Indian Army and JKP, enabled by local intelligence units, led to successfully unearth this huge cache of weapons and warlike stores.

This successful operation has defeated yet another attempt by Pakistan based terrorists to destabilise the established peace process in Jammu Region. This has been possible with an encouraging and wholehearted contribution by AWAM of the Jammu Region who has embraced peace and development South of Pir Panjal Ranges.

Deep Roots of Democracy is spreading prosperity across the entire spectrum of society with even the remote areas becoming aspirational and seeking development while debunking violence and terrorism in society.

In the past few months, the close coordination and synergy between the Indian Army, JKP and intelligence agencies have led to several successful unearthing of warlike stores. This has also broken the network of agents and overground workers sponsored by Pakistan to support the terrorist network in the Reasi District.

Weapons and warlike stores recovered are as shown:-
01 AK 47 Assault Rifle
01 RPG Launcher
16 UBGL Grenades
04 Chinese Grenades
