Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti J&K organised the Poonch’s border near LOC in Jhalaas village to distribute Solar Lights to needy villagers and teachers of Ekal Vidyalaya. 100 Solar lights were distributed on this occasion.
Sh. Pradip Kumar Sangthan Mantri Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti highlighted the achievements and mission of the Society and said that the organisation runs 36 schools in UT’s of J&K & Ladakh, in which most of the schools are functional in remote areas of both the UT’s.
Brahm Ratan Aggarwal from USA, the founder /Patron of Vidya Bharti, IEEF USA, NRI social worker. Sh. Jia Lal Vibhag Pracharak RSS, Sh. Mahesh Chander Seh-Prant Pramukh Paryavaran and senior citizens of Poonch town and adjoining villages were also present on this occasion.
In addition to this, a few plants of walnut were planted in this village and hundreds of walnut plants were distributed among these villagers free of cost. In the coming 5-6 years these plants will develop and give fruits which will develop this area and double the income of farmers the mission of Hon’ble Prime Minister.
The villagers who received the Solar Lights and walnut plants appreciated the role of Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti for such missionary work.
