Rapidly changing geo-political scenario and digital evolution in academics has today changed the face of education thus making Digital After School Program relevant and necessary. Its organic role in a student’s day to day academic life acts as a bridge between teachers and students and also helps them pursue studies at their own pace and space. What they learn and see in a Smart Class in the school, now can be carried home in their tabs along with the digital version of their books, allowing them to revise their lessons at home in an 2/D,3D version. It gives continuity from school to home and also saves money and worry of tuitions.
Pioneers in introducing Digital After School Program in schools PAN India through study tabs and learning app – Extramarks Education India Private Limited today participated in a seminar to highlight the crucial role that offline digital solutions play in bridging the teaching-learning gap apart from allowing students to learn in a digitally charged environment; thus making them independent and keen learner.

“Extramarks caters to multiple intellects which needs to be nurtured. Digital After School Program is an offline solution that has been designed keeping in mind the academic requirements of each student and follows the pedagogy of Learn – Practice and Test. It allows students to understand concepts, mapped as per school curriculum revise them with the help of multiple tools and a huge repository of question and answers and self-evaluate their academic progress through test models like MCQs, solved Boards papers etc,” said Mrs Jamwal.
She reiterated that “if parents invest in the at home solution, they are sure to help students do very well in the upcoming exams. The learning material and test is available for all classes from 1 to grade 12 for all the subjects subscribed by CBSE, ICSE, International and JK Board.”
Assessments and self evaluations are today the nucleus of every academic sphere. The CBSE recognizes this and is actively introducing it in the school curriculum so much so that it has made it mandatory for schools to give weight age to MCQs while designing the questionnaire. While assessments – in class or at home serve as a self evaluation tool for the students, it also helps them practice concepts by taking multiple number of tests in various formats. Now with the advent of Artificial Intelligence, assessments have become more robust wherein allowing teachers and students to identify the pain areas and giving them enough opportunity to practice them without having to depend on anyone.

They are better informed and equipped. As educators, we too have to evolve. Assessments play a crucial role in tapping the potential of a student and at the same time understand his pain areas, while AI helps in getting the job done with accuracy and the kind of precision it requires. I am happy that in today’s age and time, we have such opportunities that can be explored and implemented.”
