DB Thengadi Birth Centenary Celebration on November 10

New Delhi: A committee for celebration of the birth centenary of noted thinker, ideologue and the founder of country’s largest labour organisation, the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Shri DB Thengadi was formed in Delhi on October 6. Former Governor of Gujarat Prof Omprakash Kohli will head the committee. The Committee has eminent persons as members from the society including Justice (retd) Shri SN Dhingra, former Additional Chief Secretary of Assam Shri Kamalkant Mittal, retired IPS officer Shri RK Jha, Organiser editor Shri Prafulla Ketkar, Dr Devendra Singh from Dr Ambedkar International Centre, Shri Atul Jain from Deendayal Research Institute, retired IFS Shri Vidyasagar Verma, CA Shri Rajkumar Agrawal, Chief News Coordinator in Organiser Dr Pramod Kumar, president of Sanskar Bharati Delhi Pradesh, noted poet Shri Rajesh Chetan and industrialist Shri Bhupendra Kaushik, etc. Former Lok Sabha speaker Smt Sumitra Mahajan will head the birth centenary committee at the national level.
The first meeting of the birth centenary committee of Delhi Pradesh was held on October 6 at Thengadi Bhavan. Addressing the gathering, BMS national president Shri CK Sajinarayan informed that the formal inauguration of the birth centenary celebration would be held in Nagpur on November 10 in the presence of RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat. BMS north zone organising secretary Shri Pawan Kumar said the formal inauguration in Delhi will be held on November 13 in the presence of RSS Sahsarkaryavah Shri Dattatreya Hosabale and BMS national president Shri CK Sajinarayanan.
