Bajrang Dal and VHP workers staged demonstrations across the country on July 9, 2019 against growing jihadi attacks on Hindus
New Delhi: Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad workers on July 9, organised protest demonstrations across the country against growing jihadi attacks on Hindus in the country. There are reports of organising demonstrations at Patna, Muzaffarpur, Nalanda and Begusarai in Bihar, Mumbai, Pune, Nashik and Kolhapur in Maharashtra, Ahmedabad, Kutch, Junagarh and Dwarika in Gujarat, Indore, Guna, Bhind, Morena and Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh, Haridwar, Nainital, Pithoragarh and Bageshwar in Uttarakhand, Durg in Chhattisgarh, Hyderabad in Telangana, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Pali, Chittor and Dahulpur in Rajasthan, Kurnool and Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh, Lucknow, Meerut, Bulandshahar, Jhansi and Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh, Sonepat, Gurugram, Faridabad and Rohtak in Haryana. Lakhs of VHP and Bajrang Dal activists joined the protests. They also submitted memorandums to the President of India through the local authorities demanding immediate curb on the jihadi attacks.

Addressing the protesters in Indore, national convener of Bajrang Dal Shri Sohan Singh Solanki said Bajrang Dal is not ready to accept the falsehood being spread by Jihadis to defame the Hindu society. He warned the jihadis that the Hindus society would not tolerate the falsehood after a certain extent.

In Delhi, the VHP and Bajrang Dal workers, on July 9, reinstalled the idols at the Durga Mandir in Chandni Chowk where the idols had been damaged by some jihadis on June 30. Prior to installation of the idols, a grand procession was taken. Passing through Haus Khazi, Fatehpuri, Khari Bawali, Naya Bans, Katra Valiyan the procession culminated at Durga Mandir in Lal Kuan where the idols were reinstalled.

The people from all communities turned the entire Chandni Chowk saffron. Prominent among those who joined the procession included Mahamandaleshwar Swami Raghvanand, Swami Anubhutanand, Mahant Shri Naval Kishoredas, working president of Indraprastha Vishwa Hindu Parishad Shri Vagish Issar, vice president Shri Surendra Gupta and leaders of various social, religious, cultural and business organisations of Delhi. Almost all MPs of Delhi, various MLAs, Delhi BJP president Shri Manoj Tiwari, Union Minister of State Shri Vijay Goel & many other prominent personalities were also present on the occasion.

Addressing the gathering, general secretary of Akhil Bharatiya Sant Samiti Swami Jitendranand Saraswati said Hindus by nature are very patient and cool but their patience should not be tested for long. VHP joint general secretary Dr Surendra Jain said the manner in which violent demonstrations and attacks on Hindus were organised at various places of the country in the name of fake ‘mob lynching’ incident indicates a serious conspiracy to defame
the Hindus and the country.

He said the Muslims should come out of the Mughal mindset of demolishing the worship places of the Hindus rather they should behave like the great personalities like Dr APJ Abdul Kalam and Raskhan. He said Hindu can never do mob lynching as they are very peaceful by nature.

New Delhi: Vishwa Hindu Parishad on July 8 said a section of the journalists, politicians and Jihadi elements seems to be conspiring to instigate riots against Hindus. In a statement, joint general secretary of VHP Dr Surendra Jain said the way ‘so-called mob lynching’ incidents have been exaggerated and highlighted in recent past, goes far to prove that the Khan Market gang and politicians of the secular mafia, seem to be busy in instigating the Muslim community for a violent attack on Hindus. He said in the Tabrez Ansari incident of Jharkhand it is now clear that the death did riot take place because of public beating. Despite that Muslims organised huge demonstrations in Surat, Ranchi, Bhopal and other cities raising anti-Hindu and anti-national slogans, and even attacked the security forces. Temples were attacked and their idols desecrated in many places. It’s a very shameful act of instigation towards Hindus.The way lies are being propagated against the Hindu community and Hindu organisations, it seems the whole exercise is politically motivated. It was falsely portrayed that Muslims were beaten up for not saying, “Jai Shri Ram’ in places like Gurugram, Begusarai, Karim Nagar, Delhi, Cooch Behar, Kanpur etc. Despite these allegations having been proved false, there was no clarification forthcoming on it, which proves the malicious intent of those people, he added.The way 5-6 incidents, all half-truths, were falsely used as propaganda material to fuel anti-Hindu and an anti-national atmosphere, seems to be a part of a larger anti-national conspiracy. The whole world knows that Hindus are peace-loving and patient. If it was not a peace-loving community, then one can well guess the kind of reaction, the desecration of Hindu temples could have wrought. The VHP wants to know from the journalists and politicians how they and the so-called minorities would have reacted if the mosques were targets of attacks instead of the temples?The VHP released a list of some incidents to unveil the conspiracy and prove that Hindus are the real victims of mob lynchings. Wasn’t the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus an act of lynching? The dastardly killing of Gau Rakshak Arun Mahore in Agra, Dhruv Tyagi, who was publicly lynched by Muslims while trying to save the honour of his daughter in Delhi, Ankit Saxena, who was sawed to death in the national capital are examples of mob lynching. Why these incidents fail to arouse their compassion? Why do the journalists, who have transformed Dadri into a ‘pilgrimage’, maintain a stoic silence on the mob lynching of Hindus?
