Saints at the VHP’s Kendriya Margdarshak Mandal meeting appeal to the Chief Justice of India and Central Government to allow Shri Ram Mandir reconstruction at the earliest
Haridwar: The reconstruction of grand Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya remained at the core of discussion on second of the VHP’s Kendriya Margdarshak Mandal meeting on June 20. The saints attending the meeting stressed on reconstruction of the temple at the earliest.

Talking to media persons, Swami Shyam Devacharya Maharaj from Jabalpur said the Hindus have been resolute about the temple from 1528 to 1984 and the VHP, under the guidance of the saints, has been constantly struggling for the same. Therefore, any further delay in this holy national work is unjustified. VHP working president Shri Alok Kumar and vice president Shri Champat Rai were also present.

Swamiji recollected how the BJP had passed a resolution in its Palampur meeting in 1989, the Rath yatra of Advani ji and the arrest of Atal Behari Vajpayee during the karsewa of 1990. After PM Modi included this resolution in his 2019 manifesto, the expectations of the people have increased further. The whole nation has witnessed how anti-Ram forces got united to put up roadblocks in the judicial process. The resolution passed at the meeting, presided over by Pujya Yugpurush Shri Parmanand ji Maharaj, also said: “The saints of the country appeal to the government to remove all the obstacles in the path so that the Grand Temple in Ayodhya be built soon according to the wishes of crores of Hindus.” Prior to it, Shri Champat Rai apprised the saints of the various social issues.

“It will not be right even on the part of the judiciary to turn away from its responsibility,” the resolution added. Despite the fact that the first case was filed way back in 1949 and after 60 long years, a favourable judgement came in 2010, but due to the judicial discrepancy in Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court verdict, the Hindu society did not get complete justice. This topic of national importance has been pending in Supreme Court since 2011. But, unfortunately, it is not even in its priority list. The saints through the resolution called upon the Chief Justice of India to make a decision by completing the hearing in the matter at the earliest”.

In another resolution, moved by Swami Paramatmanand Saraswati from Rajkot, the Kendriya Margdarshak Mandal expressed satisfaction over the results of the recent general elections. “It is a matter of happiness that the people gave victory to the issues of nationalism, Hindutva and all-inclusive development in this election and rejected and routed dynastic, casteist, individualist and pseudo-secularist politics. The country has given its approval on many important decisions taken by the government in national interest,” the resolution said.

Applauding various decisions taken by the previous NDA Government including establishment of Rashtriya Kamdhenu Ayog, wonderful preparations during Prayagraj Kumbh, introduction of Citizenship Amendment Bill, etc, the saints underlined some points of national importance mentioned in the present manifesto of the BJP—common population policy, repealing of Articles 370 and 35A, rehabilitation of Kashmiri Hindus in the Valley, etc. “The Margdarshak Mandal is confident that the newly elected Central Government will take urgent steps in all these directions. The country will give the government all enthusiastic cooperation in its works in the interest of the country and society, good governance, nationalism, Hindutva and development of all. It is expected that the government will be able to control the ‘anti-Ram elements’ too.,” the resolution added.
