Kalam Ansari, 55, was caught red-handed while raping a 10-year-old Hindu girl in Sheohar, Bihar
Cases of rape against minors by Muslim men are being reported on a daily basis. In a shocking and shameful incident that adds to that list, a 55-year-old Kalam Ansari has been caught red-handed while raping a 10-year-old Hindu girl in Sheohar district of Bihar on June 11. The villagers later handed him over to the police.
The rape was reported from Hiramma police station area. Confirming the case, SDPO Rakesh Kumar has said that name of the accused is Kalam Ansari, a resident of the Masjid Tola, who has been arrested and the minor girl has been sent for medical treatment.
Anees Jha, a resident of Sheohar, told Organiser that we appealed to the advocates of Sheohar not to fight the case of Kalam Ansari and demanded harsh action against the rapist.
Meanwhile, in an another incident in Bihar’s Begusarai on June 12, communally charged Muslim mob barged into the house of a Hindu family, molested two women and tried to kill the lone male member who was present there at that time. The Muslims wanted the Hindus to sell their lands, house and leave the area.
