Final Blow to the ?Hindu Terror? Narrative

“If anyone recapitulates the investigation history of NIA through 2009-2010, it was all about introducing a new nonexistent ‘Hindu Terrorism’ concept. In every case assigned to NIA—from the Samjhauta Express Blasts, Malegaon to Ajmer Sharif—they overlooked the first set of evidences and replaced it with evidences supporting the Hindu Terror narrative” – RVS Mani, Hindu Terror: Insider account of Ministry of Home Affairs 2006-2010, Vitasta Publishing Pvt.Ltd, 2018,

“If anyone recapitulates the investigation history of NIA through 2009-2010, it was all about introducing a new nonexistent ‘Hindu Terrorism’ concept. In every case assigned to NIA—from the Samjhauta Express Blasts, Malegaon to Ajmer Sharif—they overlooked the first set of evidences and replaced it with evidences supporting the Hindu Terror narrative”
– RVS Mani, Hindu Terror: Insider account of Ministry of Home Affairs 2006-2010, Vitasta Publishing Pvt.Ltd, 2018, P 106

Dealing a death blow to the fake narrative of ‘Hindu Terror’, Panchkula special National Investigation Agency (NIA) court on March 20, 2019, acquitted Swami Aseemanand, Lokesh Sharma, Kamal Chauhan and Rajender Chaudhary in connection with Samjhauta blast case. On the same day, a special SIT court in Karnavati (Ahmedabad) sentenced convict Yakub Pataliya to life imprisonment in connection with the 2002 Godhra train carnage in which 59 ‘karsevaks’ were burnt alive in two coaches of the Sabarmati Express, accepting the prosecution’s contention that there was a conspiracy behind the incident. Both these cases may look different, but the conspiracy hatched behind them was the same – building the narrative of ‘Hindu Terror’ to cover-up the Jihadi terror.

These days the dynastic party that hatched this conspiracy to malign the entire Hindu society is trying its best to prove its Hindu credentials. After the janeu display of the Gandhi scion, his sister, Priyanka Gandhi-Vadra, is showcasing her temple-hopping skills on the Ganga ghats. If we go through their game of devising non-existent concept called ‘Hindu terror’, it will become evident that the inheritors of the Nehru-Gandhi family are playing another game to fool people with the display of Hindu identity.

The UPA Government took over in 2004 and immediately removed the Prevention of Terrorism Act, 2002 (POTA). The only Act that was meant for curbing terror activities, giving special powers to the investigation agencies was removed as part of the communally secular appeasement policy. Taking advantage of the lenient Government guided by Sonia Gandhi, Jihadi terror activities spread their tentacles all over. The Mumbai serial blasts and attack through the sea root by the Pakistani terrorists, Kasab and company, were blots on the UPA. The series of blasts like Malegaon, Ajmer, Hyderabad and Samjhauta were happening every now and then. The UPA was under pressure to mend the terror policy, and suddenly the then home minister came with the ‘Hindu Terror’ theory which was further played by Congress again and again till 2014.

In case of the Samjhauta blast, on June 29, 2009, the Security Council Al-Qaida and Taliban Sanctions Committee through its press release number SC/9695 added names of three individuals to the list, and one of them was Arif Qasmani. The UNSC press release reads, “Arif Qasmani is the chief coordinator of Lashkar-e-Tayyiba’s (LeT) (QDe.118) dealings with other organizations and has provided significant support for LeT terrorist operations. Qasmani has worked with LeT to facilitate terrorist attacks, including the July 2006 train bombing in Mumbai, India, and the February 2007 Samjota Express bombing.” The US treasury bench also ratified this fact while imposing sanctions on the LeT in Pakistan. Still, the ‘Hindu Terror’ narrative was peddled targeting Swami Aseemanand and others. The stories as narrated by former Home Ministry official only depict the evil intentions behind the narratives and their political executions.

The Godhra carnage case was not very different. The train coach was actually burnt from inside to ‘Karsevaks’ were responsible for provocation; all kinds of arguments were made by the ‘secular’ gang. Narendra Modi was targeted every now and then in the name of Godhra, calling him ‘Maut ka Saudagar,’ and maligning the image of entire Hindu society internationally. All this was happening without even mentioning the burning of innocent Karsevaks by the conspirators. When this game was played, Sonia Gandhi was at the helm of affairs. Rahul Gandhi himself termed ‘Hindu terror as the bigger threat than the Maoist terrorism’ to the foreign diplomats, as per the WikiLeaks cables. Hindus reacted sharply reducing the family-owned party to 44 in the parliament in 2014. Can Rahul-Priyanka duo wash away the sin of conspiring against the Hindus by just temple-hopping?
