Women from Andhra Pradesh return from Pampa after protests

State BJP leaders courted arrest in Nilakkal to express their protest to the Kerala government’s wrong and ridiculous attitude towards Sabarimala

Today five more young women were stopped from going ahead to Sabarimala. All of them are obviously left activists even though four of them, coming from Andhra Pradesh, claimed that they are ignorant of the Sabarimala traditions. Bindu Zacharia, the fifth one, a young Christian woman from Kottayam, was stopped by the devotees while she was coming to Shabarimala by a KSRTC bus. She is in fact a CPM activist and active leader of the infamous ‘kiss of love movement’.

Devotees believe that the attempts of the above women are nothing but the result of the conspiracies hatched by the police.
Meanwhile, state BJP leaders courted arrest in Nilakkal to express their protest to the Kerala government’s wrong and ridiculous attitude towards Sabarimala. National executive member P.K. Krishnadas and his colleagues violated CrPC 144 and courted arrest in Nilakkal. Later on state vice president K.P. Sreeshan Master and his colleagues courted arrest in the same place.
