The Varsh Pratipada special dated March 18 is truly a must read. The special issue has vividly presented the Hindu perspective on all possible dimensions of contemporary life. David Frawley’s review of Why I Am A Hindu was a really fantastic critique. What is very pressing is to prepare an army of Hindus who are well armed with knowledge of Hinduism and all world religions to take on all the anti-Hindu forces worldwide. The aim should be to inform the whole world at large about the greatness of Hindutva, that will also encourage millions to adopt Hindutva as an informed choice (without any compulsion of any sort)

The Great Betrayal of ‘Seculars’

Dr Sandip Kar Purkayastha has made good analysis of wrongs done by secular political parties, in is write-up “Beware Seculars” in Organiser dated February 18, 2018. However it needs some corrections. It would be wrong to say, that “vengeance was wreaked by the British Raj on Hindus” by “partitioning of India. The fact is that, both British and Jinnah were correct. If there was no partition in 1947, Muslim population in Akhand Bharat would have risen from 24 percent in 1947, to around 40 per cent by this time. Certainly India would have become a Muslim majority with in a period of two decades from now, resulting in “Akhand Pakistan”.  It is also a historical fact that Jinnah had been pleading for complete exchange of population. He wanted that Hindus and Muslims in their respective homelands can work in their own ways according to their genious, tradition and culture. A very good idea. Dr BR Ambedkar also advised in his book “Pakistan or the Partition of India”, that it was in the interest of Hindus to accept creation of Pakistan, with complete exchange of population, so that there  was homogenious population, which he considered necessary for peace and prosperity. Nehru and Congress did treachery and are directly responsible for mass slaughter of Hindus in Pakistan. Blaming British and Jinnah amounts to hiding the sins and wrongs done by Nehru and his men. Let us hope, that injustice meted out to the Hindus and non-Muslims by seculars would be undone by BJP government led by a strong Prime Minister like Shri Narendra Modi.

Politics of Anarchy and Arrogance

It refers to “Anarchy Continues”, published in Organiser dated March 4, 2018. There is no love lost between Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and bureaucracy. Ever since AAP came into power in 2015, tussle between AAP and bureaucracy has only been growing. First it was LG Najeeb Jung, then present LG Anil Baijal and now with Delhi Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash. It is highly unfortunate that one of the AAP party MLAs  physically assaulted Chief Secretary during the meeting over discrepancies in Public Distribution System. Though soon after Chief Secretary lodged an FIR against MLA, counter allegation had started coming from AAP that AAP MLAs were attacked by unidentified men in Delhi secretariat. Such kind of behavior from both sides is unwarranted and least desired to let administration function smoothly. Both sides can reconcile the matter amicably by sitting across the table and if needed Delhi CM can tender an apology to Chief Secretary to end the crisis now. What ever good intentions Delhi CM and his party may have to improve the lives of Delhities, but such kind of incidents only send a negative message to the masses. And he came to power with much fanfare but it looks like a golden opportunity lost for Kejriwal. Differences between politicians and bureaucrats are normal but no one should stoop so low to get physical. For any state to function smoothly administration and law makers have to be in sync, but sadly that”s not the case here in national capital.                                                                                                           Bal Govind, Noida
