Sangh Shiksha Vargas conclude in Telangana, Gujarat, Bengal, Tamil Nadu & Maharashtra
Hyderabad: May and June are the months when Sangh Shiksha Vargas are held by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh across the country. These workers training camps are held at different times in all the Prants. Some camps have concluded while some are going on. The third year Sangh Shiksha Varg is going on in Nagpur.
The 20-day Sangh Shiksha Varg of Telangana Prant concluded on May 27 at Sri Vidya Vihar School, Annojiguda in Hyderabad. Padmashri Awardee and Executive Chairman of CYIENT, Dr BVR Mohan Reddy Garu spoke about what made him proud to be a Hindu. He emphasised three aspects—education, values and society, which are important for holistic development of an individual and the nation. He appreciated the trainees for attending and showing utmost discipline and the trainers, who imparted training to the participants. A total of 580 Shiksharthis from 380 places participated in the rigorous training programme.
Dakshin Madhya Kshetra Pracharak, Shri Ale Shyam Kumar, touched how the Hindu society has overcome the
challenges over centuries, be it Islamic invasions or European aggressions. “The Hindu society has an innate strength to overcome challenges. The RSS has focused on nourishing this strength by character building and inculcating patriotism,” he said. He underlined the efforts of RSS in curbing social discrimination. “Our scriptures conveyed the spirit of oneness and our ancestors had always practised egalitarian values. However, in the past few centuries discriminatory practices crept in the society. But the swayamsevaks are working diligently on matters like temple entry for all, common cremation ground and availability of common water sources for all. We must put an end to discrimination of all kinds”, he added. Hindu thought is integral in its approach and when the entire society has pride in Hindutva and each individual plays his part in positive development, we will be able to realise the vision of Swami Vivekananda of a glorious Bharat.
The first year training camp of Gujarat concluded at Himmatnagar on May 27. A total of 288 swayamsevaks undersent training in the Varg. The Swayamsevaks from Kutch, Saurashtra and Karnavati Vibhags participated in the camp held in Bhavnagar. Shri Vishnu Swami, Margdarshak of Akwada Gurukul and retired senior scientist Shri Maheshbhai Gandhi were present at the concluding ceremony. RSS Gujarat Prant Sah Sampark Pramukh Dr Sunil Bhai Borisa said man making has been the tradition of the nation and the RSS is following the same tradition for the last nine decades. He said social unity is must for nation building. He called upon the people to work on strengthening social harmony at their respective places. A total of 214 swayamsevaks underwent training at the camp.
The Sangh Shiksha Varga of Uttar Tamil Nadu that began on April 30 also concluded at Dharmapuri. Swayamsevaks above the age of 40 years underwent training at the camp. A total of 107 trainees underwent training. A community leaders meet was organised at camp. 28 persons representing from 18 communities participated in the meet. Kshetra Pracharak Shri Sthanumaalayan guided the participants. Gau Puja was also organised.
The Sangh Shiksha Varga of Devgiri Prant concluded in Latur on May 27. RSS Pashchim Kshetra Karyavah Shri Sunilbhia Mehta addressed the concludign ceremony. Sangh Shiksha Varga of Uttarbang Prant concluded in Malda on May 27.
