Alappuzha: RSS Sarkaryavah Shri Bhaiyaji Joshi called for rejecting all sorts of discriminatory tendencies and for taking united efforts for betterment of the society. He was addressing a public meeting after inaugurating RSS Shabarigiri Vibhag Karyalaya at Chengannur in Alappuzha District.
Shri Joshi added the Hindu society suffers from caste based divisions. But, birth in a particular caste or society is not one’s choice; it happens due to God’s will. Therefore, the society should graduate into performing with integral mindset like a human body lives with all organs performing it’s set duties ignoring all sorts of differences in their size or significance. We always come across suggestions to make Bharat equal to foreign countries. But, the Sangh believes that Bharat must remain as Bharat; our goal is to empower the samaj, crush the fissiparous and terrorist forces and strengthen Bharat as a powerful and prosperous nation.
RSS National Executive Member Shri S Sethumadhavan inaugurated “Narayana Smruthi,” the auditorium in commemoration of Narayanankutty, Venmani (Chengannur) native killed by ULFA terrorists while working as a Sangh Pracharak in Assam. He explained the life and sacrifice of the late Pracharak. RSS Shabharigiri Vibhag Sanghachalak Shri CP Mohanachandran presided over the function. Swamini Devi Jnanabhanishta of Pathanamthitta Sree Shanthananda Mat Rishinjana Sadhanalayam also blessed the function.
RSS Akhil Bharatiya Sah Prachar Pramukh Shri J Nandakumar inaugurated the library attached to the new Karyalaya. Prant Sanghchalak Shri PEB Menon distributed the mementos. Kshetra Sanghachalak Dr R Vanyaraj, Pracharak Shri G Sthanumalayan, Pracharak Pramukh Shri PR Sashidharan, Shareerik Pramukh Shri OK Mohan, Seema Jagaran Manch Akhil Bharatiya convener Shri A Gopalakrishnan, Prant Pracharak Shri PN Harikrishnakumar etc were also present.
Hindu Spiritual and Service Fair in Bengaluru from December 14
Bengaluru: Hindu Spiritual and Service Fair-2016 (HSSF) in Karnataka is being organised from December 14 to 18, 2016 at National High School Grounds, Basavanagudi, Bengaluru. This will be the second Fair in the State. Last it was held at the same venue from December 9 to 13, 2015. Addressing media persons on November 1 eminent economist and founding organiser of the Fair, Shri S Gurumurthy said, “The Fair intends to provide a platform for spiritual and service organisations and also to motivate, involve the public to be part of the process of social transformation.” Eminent scientist and former ISRO Chairman Dr Kasturirangan is the Chairperson of the Reception Committee. At the Press Meet, Dr Kasturirangan, Shri TV Mohandas Pai, Shri Murali Malayappan, Shri MP Kumar and Sridhar Sagar were also present. The 5-day mega conclave will have more than 250 Hindu socio-religious service institutions from across Karnataka showcasing their various service activities by setting up stalls.
Chikkaballapura: Bharat Parikrama Yatra by Shri Sitaram Kedilaya entered Karnataka on October 25 for second time at Marganukunte Village under Bagepalli Taluk in Chikkaballapura District. Shri Kedilaya has so far covered an approximate distance of 21,300 km by walk in 23 states reaching around 2,000 villages. The Yatra entered Marganukunte from Gorantla region of Andhra Pradesh. In October 2012 also the Yatra had visited coastal Karnataka villages for 45 days. RSS Sahsarkaryavah Shri Dattatreya Hosabale, senior Pracharak Shri KS Nagaraj, Prant Pracharak Shri Sudhir, Sah Prant Pracharak Shri Guruprasad and other leaders also joined the Yatra on October 31 at Gerahalli, Chikkaballapura.
Chennai: A fire accident took place at Cantonment Pallavaram – Narikuravar Colony, last week. On hearing the news, the RSS swayamsevaks from Pammal, Anakaputhur, Pozhichalur, Chromepet and Chitlapakkam visited the spot and made immediate assessment of the situation. They realised the immediate need of drinking water, food and clothing. They spent their Deepawali day with the homeless people. Food was distributed to 350 people along with 5,000 water packets. They also collected relief materials from nearby areas. Clothes were also distributed to around 350 people. Sewa Bharati is planning for more rehabilitation work for the affected people. New Delhi: Three-day Akhil Bharatiya Prerna Shivir of Rashtra Sevika Samiti is being organised in New Delhi from November 11 to 13 at Terapanth Bhavan in Chhatarpur. RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat will inaugurate the Shivir, which is being organised as part of 80 years commemoration of the Samiti.
Talking to media persons on October 20, Akhil Bharatiya Sah Karyavahika of the Samiti Smt Alka Inamdar said about 2,500 workers who hold any responsibility in the organisation up to Nagar or Zilla level will participate in the Shivir. They will discuss in details the role of the family in nation building. Based on that discussion new organisational activities would be formulated. She said Munishri Jayant Kumar, the disciple of Pujya Acharya Shri Mahashraman, will also be present at the inaugural session.
On November 12, Governor of Goa Smt Mridula Sinha and vice president of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari Sushri Nivedita Bhide will guide the workers. On November 13, there will be a discussion on the role of family in nation building and the Lok Sabha Speaker Smt Sumitra Mahajan will preside over the session. The concluding ceremony will be addressed by Sevika Samitis Pramukh Sanchalika Shantakka and eminent scientist Dr Shubha will preside over.
Ranchi: Senior RSS Pracharak and patron of Forum for Awareness of National Security (FANS) Shri Indresh Kumar said the people must have one voice at challenging times. Speaking at a programme organised by Jharkhand unit of FANS, he took on those supporting triple ‘Talaq’ and questioning surgical strike in PoK and said that they are trying to destroy the basics of India as a nation. Central University (Ranchi) VC Nand Kumar Yadav ‘Indu’, FANS general secretary Golak Bihari, FANS Jharkhand vice chairman Dr Shahid Akhtar and many others were present on the occasion.
He took on those supporting the triple talaq saying it was neither raised by the government nor the BJP or RSS or any other organisation. “The issue has been raised by 50% population (women) of Muslims, who after not getting justice from anywhere within their own community went to the Supreme Court of the India, their last hope and rightly so,” Shri Indresh Kumar said.
