I heard the speech of comrade Sitaram Yechury on TV regarding the Kashmir violence which he gave in the Parliament and was disappointed to hear that he said that there is no connection of Pakistan with the insurgency in Kashmir and it is a local phenomena. The comrade said that it is not fair that whenever something happens in the Kashmir Valley we put the blame on Pakistan. The whole world knows that Pakistan is fighting a proxy war with India in Kashmir. The insurgency is totally Pakistan inspired. Pakistan supplies money and ammunition to the terrorists in Kashmir. They are giving training to the terrorists in Pakistan itself. Without Pakistan’s support the insurgency can’t last a day. The aim of the Pakistan and militants is to break away Kashmir from India and people like you support this on Facebook. But what about Tibet and Xinjiang? Why don't you ask China your Godfather to leave Tibet and Xinjiang ? I think that you are not aware that the moment India leaves Kashmir it will be taken over by Pakistan and it will become a big security risk for India. Now they are opposing the RSS and BJP and are firmly supporting the Muslim fundamentalism. That is why no Hindu is prepared to vote for the comrades.

Stern action required
There are many elements in Kashmir, who, instead of denouncing democracy and secularism are preaching communal hatred. On top of this, there are protest organised by the separatists at the behest of Pakistan. Resultantly, there are violent mob attacks.To handle the situation, Pakistan’s infiltration has to be dealt with stern action.

Value education requires culture
( Value Addition Beyond Perception, July 24 ); While this may be an eye opener for many, I am not surprised by the gist of the article. Value education requires some input of culture, the roots of which do not really matter. In St Xaviers, my contemporaries included Sunil Gavaskar, Adi Godrej, Deepak Parekh and Gautam Patel. Noel Sheth, my classmate, who took his PhD from Harvard, is probably the leading linguist in Pali and Sanskrit. He started his Sanskrit in this Jesuit School, taught by Mr Bhat, a Konkani Brahmin. My sons studied at Vidyodaya and Chinmaya, taking up Sanskrit. Parents send their children to the schools/colleges which provide the best education., which is how it should be. I was watching Amartya Sen this evening remarking that. “Ache din” will come sooner than later if we focus on education and health. This will leverage our young manpower into a strong demographic dividend, failing which our vast population will end up as a huge liability.

Betrayed
Politicians leaving one Party to join another has become a routine affair and therefore, Navjot Singh Sidhu’s exit from the BJP is not surprising. However what is shocking is the way he betrayed not only his political guru Union Finance Minister Shri Arun Jaitley but also Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. If he was so disenchanted with the BJP, he should have left the Party when he was given the Rajya Sabha nomination three months back. The grass may look green to Sidhu but he will have to face a bigger challenge if he joins the Aam Aadmi Party. As for the BJP ,Sidhu’s exit may prove to be a blissing in disguise for the BJP Party in Punjab.

| Baseless Allegation ( The Trial Tale, July 31); This refers to the article titled ‘The Trial Tale’ by K Aayushi in Organiser. The Supreme Court’s order to Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi asking for an immediate apology or face trial for making a controversial remark on Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is appropriate and timely, considering the little sense of history of the Gandhi scion. His comment at an election rally in Maharashtra in 2014 saying that, “Gandhi was shot dead by RSS people”, is truly uncalled for and highly condemnable. He must not have commented so and should have restrained himself before putting the blame on the RSS on a historical sensitive issue like that of the assassination of the father of the nation.As Rahul Gandhi has been consistently making efforts to spread lies and putting baseless allegations on the RSS,it is felt across the political spectrum that he is only adding woes to the fast fraying party. Arguably the order of the Supreme Court has once again brought home the fact that no one is above the law of the land and will not be spared for speaking irresponsible statements in the public.The Congress which is all in arms to defend their family is maintaining that there is no question of offering a public apology or regret for Rahul Gandhi is doing a much more stupid thing as compare to Rahul Gandhi’s statement. It is a pity that the defence council does not know the difference between “Godse killing Gandhi and RSS killed Gandhi” while making an effort to save Rahul Gandhi.Caught in the middle of this controversy, the party described him as a seasoned and mature politician with intricate understanding of history is simply making Rahul Gandhi a big stroke . |

This refers to the three articles, ‘Making of a Jihadi State’ by Alok Bansal; ‘The Wahhabi Evil’ by Brig. Anil Gupta and ‘The Deadly mixture’ by Satish Kumar in Organiser, throwing light on various aspects of Islamic terrorism. Two important facts which no one has mentioned must be made clear. Firstly, we accept, that teachings of Islam very clearly teaches hatred and violence against all non-believers, called kafirs. If a jihadi asks some non-Muslim to embrace Islam, he could be killed if he does not agree. Such hateful teachings have been put to practice by all heroes of Islam, and even by ordinary Muslims, to get a place in the heaven. It amounts to befooling people, that all religions teach peace and brotherhood. Secondly, we must understand that there a an internal Pakistan of twenty crore Muslims, living inside truncated Bharat, and it is much more dangerous than external Pakistan in the West and another in the East called Bangladesh, both put together. Unless this internal Pakistan is liquidated by complete exchange of population, it would be impossible to tackle the problem of Islamic terror. And lastly, Bharat must be very careful, while dealing with other Muslim countries.

Since then, China has managed to bring down the poverty rate from 53per cent in the Mao era to just 6 per cent in 2001.In India, the so-called Communists are all OPPORTUNISTS. Communism does not believe in the power of the ballot, the fundamental of Democracy.Still, these opportunists
participate in our electoral process. In other advanced
democratic countries, where Communism is not allowed, they are raising their heads in the garb of Human Rights activists.As you have very correctly advised, we should educate our youth on the high values of democracy and enlighten them on the perils of Communism.
