Paying tribute at a condolence meeting organised in Lucknow on July 17, RSS Sahsarkaryavah Shri Dattatreya Hosabale described Sureshraoji a karmath (very hard working), tapasvi and nishthawan (devoted) worker. “He did all his works in a planned manner. Before delivering any speech, he wrote all the important points and memorised them before starting the speech,” Shri Hosabale said.
In his tribute, Uttar Pradesh Governor Shri Ram Naik said: “The age of both of us, Ketkarji and myself, is almost the same. First time I met him in the Sangh Shakha. Later, he became a Pracharak and I the organising secretary in Jan Sangh. But we continued to meet. The best tribute to such a great soul would be to take forward the work that he started and follow his ideals.
Senior Pracharak Shri Madhubhai Kulkarni pointed out that Ketkarji always motivated the workers to accelerate the work. “He was like a guardian for lakhs of workers all over the country. Every worker influenced by him feels the affection that he has received from him,” Shri Kulkarni added. Former BJP MP Shri Lalji Tandon also paid tribute. The message of Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, originally sent to RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat, was also read out at the condolence meeting.
