There were three parallel sessions covering covering different topics. The first session outlined the importance of Sewa activities in mainstream community as well as for Hindu community in and around Houston.
The second session stressed the need and importance of establishing correct Hindu identity in mainstream community.
The third session brainstormed topic of ever importance, developing second generation youth leadership in community.
Consul General of India Shri Anupam Ray stressed at being Indian is inextricably linked with him being a Hindu. He expressed that he was impressed by the work of HSS in Houston and its coordination  with various other organisations.
HSS USA president Dr Vinod Ambastha expressed satisfaction with Houston Hindu Community for coming together and discussing various issues of importance over past ten years and also hoped that greater leap in this mutual coordination should be our next aim.                                   n
