Nagpur: RSS Swayamsevaks attending the third year Sangh Shiksha Varg at Reshimbagh premises, marched for Path Sanchalan at major streets of Nagpur city on the evening of May 30. A total of 982 selected cadres from all states of Bharat, who are taking higher level of RSS training marched in the Path Sanchalan. This year, Shrung Ghosgh (Brass Band Set) was used in Ghosh Vibhag.
Varg Sarvadhikari Dr Vanni Rajan, Varg Karyavah Shri Harish Kulkarni, Varg Palak Adhikari Shri Swant Ranjan, senior RSS functionaries Sahsarakaryavah  Shri V Bhagaiah, Akhil Bharatiya Vyavastha Pramukh Shri Mangesh Bhende, Shri Kajampady Subramanya Bhat of Kutumba Prabodhan, Dr Dinesh of Gram Vikas, Shri Shankar Lal of Gou Raksha, Shri Sharad Dhole of Dharma Jagaran, Mukhya Shikshak Shri Rajesh Londhe, Sah Mukhya Shikshak Shri Ganga Vishnu, Bauddhik Pramukh Shri Devendra Kumar Shukla and other prominent functionaries witnessed the Path Sanchalan.
Began on May 15, 2016, the 25-day Tritya Varsh Sangh Shiksha Varg is to conclude on June 9, in which RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat will address the public valedictory ceremony at Reshimbagh Maidan, Nagpur.                                         

 

Need to Indianise Convocation Attire: SSUN

Shiksha Sanskrit Utthan Nyas (SSUN) urged the Vice Chancellors of all states and Central Universities to organise their convocations only in Bharatiya attires. Applauding the initiative taken by Rajasthan Governor Shri Kalyan Singh in this regard, the Nyas urged the Governors to take necessary action to ensure that the convocations are organised according to Indian traditions. The Nyas adopted a resolution in this regard at a national workshop organised in Ropar, Punjab from May 27 to 28. A total of 205 educationists from 27 Prants attended the workshop.
Inaugurating the workshop, noted educationist and RSS Akhil Bharatiya Sah Sampark Pramukh Dr Aniruddha Deshpande stressed the need to make arrangements for value education. Secretary of the Nyas Shri Atul Kothari stressed the need to ensure proper implementation of the new Education Policy to be announced shortly. President of the Nyas Shri Dinanath Batra presided over the inaugural ceremony.
On this occasion noted educationist Dr Chandkiran Saluja was honoured with Pt Madanmohan Malviya Educationist Samman by Himachal Pradesh Governor Acharya Dev Vrata. The workshop decided to organise  workshops on education, Vedic Mathematics, character building, Indian languages, autonomy in education, etc. Shri Dina Nath Batra and Shri Atul Kothari were re-appointed as president and secretary of the Nyas        respectively.                                              n

 

Children on a right path during vacation

Tambaram: A five-day summer camp was organised by local unit of  the RSS Selaiyur Nagar in Jambulingeswarar Temple near Chennai in Tambaram. RSS Tambaram Sangachalak Shri Sitaraman inaugurated the camp on May 21, which concluded on May 25. A total of 80 children between the age group of 8 to 15 years actively took part in the camp. The children were taught yoga, music, bhajans, arts and craft, traditional games. The children also took part in seva activities. Retired teacher from National Higher Secondary School Shri Sammandham delivered the valedictory speech.
People in the neighbourhood also welcomed the initiative by sponsoring refreshments and other supplies for the participating kids for all the five days. The temple authorities extended full co-operation towards successful completion of the event. Sanskrit Sambhashan Shivir in Delhi

A ten-day Sanskrit Sambhashan Shivir, jointly organised by Sanskrit Shikshak Sangh and Dehli Samskrit Bharati, concluded in Delhi on May 29. A total of 55 participants attended the camp and learnt the skill of spoken Sanskrit.
Speaking at the concluding ceremony Dr Vrijesh Gautam, president of Sanskrti Shikshak Sangh, said Sanskrit is not merely a language but a language explaining a unique philosophy of life. Dr V Dayalu, general secretary of the Shikshak Sangh said the public interest in Sanskrit has increased and there are a good number of people who never knew Sanskrit but now want to learn it. Shri Sushil Jha of Samskrit Bharati said if we want to reconnect to our roots we must learn Sanskrit. Sanskrit scholar Dr Leena Sinha described Sanskrit as a treasure of knowledge.                                   n

 

Hindutva offers solution to all ills: Dr Bajranglal Gupt

New Delhi: Uttar Bharat Kshetra level training camp of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad workers concluded in Delhi on May 30. Addressing the concluding ceremony noted economist and RSS Uttar Kshetra Sanghachalak Dr Bajranglal Gupt said there is an clash between the Hindu and non-Hindu ideologies  world over. The Hindu way of life provides solution to all the problems that are afflicting the world today. The view Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah  is beneficial not only for the humanity but also for the entire universe. We all should work for the restoration of Hindu values,” Dr Gupt said.
Shri Ravi Prakash Arora, retired IAS, stressed on the enactment of Common Civil Code and its strict implementation all over the country. The training camp was conducted from May 21 to 30. About 150 workers from Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Delhi underwent training at the camp. VHP general secretary Shri Champat Rai, general secretary organisation Shri Dinesh Chandra and other senior leaders also guided the workers at the camp.       n

 

Abhinava Sandesh Yatra welcomed in Delhi

New Delhi: Rashtriya Sikh Sangat workers and leaders in Delhi on May 27 extended warm welcome to Abhinava Sandesh Yatra being conducted by Acharya Abhinava Gupt  Millennium Celebration Committee all over the country. The Yatra visited Gurudwara Sheeshganj Sahib in Chandani Chowk and Gurudwara Bangla Sahib. The kalash, which is carrying the holy soil of Jammu Kashmir and also from other places of the country, was put in the Gurudwara and prayer was offered. After that the kalash was carried to the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib.

Rashtra Sevika Samiti training camp in Delhi

Delhi : A five-day training camp of Rashtra Sevika Samiti workers concluded in Delhi on May 28.
A total of 150 workers between the age of 14 to 35 years underwent training at the camp. Co-convenor of Medhavani Mandal Delhi Dr Nisha Ranaji, who is also associate professor of Commerce and Management in Deendayal Upadhyaya College of Delhi University, addressed the workers at the concluding ceremony. She said the women today need to be fit not merely mentally, but also physically. It is for this objective that the Rashtra Sevika Samiti organises such camps all over the country.    
Speaking at the concluding ceremony as chief guest Dr Pratyusha Vatsala, Principal of Lakshmibai College in Delhi University, said the camp has inspired the girls to be ready for any sacrifice for the nation.
She applauded the Sevika Samiti activities and said the organisation is dedicated to make women active for social and national cause. She said the women can play a very effective role in awakening the society. What is needed is to remind them of their strength and also activate them for social activities. She stressed the need to educate the young girls about their role to be played in national life.     n

 

RSS to work for making the Earth Green

Rajasthan : The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) workers in Rajasthan, with the active cooperation of the society, are going to take up a big project to make the earth green and clean. From this year, they are going to plant at least six lakh saplings every year. Apart from planting, sufficient arrangements will also be made for care of the plants. Such a campaign will be conducted every year under the banner of APNA Sansthan.
After the global concern expressed on climate change, the RSS Karyakari Mandal meeting held in Ranchi discussed the issue seriously and the workers in Rajasthan were told to formulate effective action plan to executive it.  The decision to plant six lakh saplings is the outcome of that action plan. A new organisation, Amritadevi Paryavaran Nagrik Sansthan (Apna Sansthan) was formed for it. The tree plantation will be made a mass campaign. The saplings will be planted between August 2 (Hariyali Teej) to September 12 (Amritadevi Balidan Diwas). Amritadevi along with over 300 people had sacrificed her life for the protection of trees about 300 years back. The campaign was inaugurated in Jaipur on May 28.                        n
