Organiser 12.7.2015

(Organiser,12.7.2015); This refers to the editorial, ‘Demystifying the Islamic State’ and an article ‘The dirty Perils of Wahhabism in India’ by Pankaj Sharma in Organiser. The suggestion that “Muslims of India be brought in mainline , efforts through propagation of modern education system”—may be with good intention , but based on falsehood. The fact is that highly educated Muslims are becoming jihadis and terrorists. Jihad, i.e. killing and looting non- Muslims cannot be separated from Islam. Peace and Islam cannot co-exist. It is a historical fact, that about a thousand years ago, people in Afghanistan and Central Asia, called Gandhara and Kamboja in Buddhist literature were all Hindus and Buddhist and were part of Aryavarta and included in 16 Mahajanpadas of North India. Islam has devoured almost half of original Bharat, if Pakistan and Bangladesh are also included. The remaining half of Bharat, which is now called Bharat, is badly suffering from Islamic cancer, which if not treated well in time, would surely result in death of Bharat, and creation of Akhand Pakistan. Therefore, we must stop dreaming of correcting Muslims through modern education and face the reality boldly. And above all Muslims have no right to live in truncated Bharat after creation of Pakistan as their separate homeland.
ANAND PRAKASH, 72/Sector—8, Panchkula: 134 109

Bharat’s  history is highly distorted   since it has been written by foreigners. Maharana Pratap was no less a warrior than Shivaji though luck didn’t favour him. He has been deprived of greatness which he  deserves. Rajasthan Government has done the right thing to include a chapter in the school textbooks about the valour and sacrifice of Maharana  Pratap in giving a fight to the Mughals. It is likely that the Central Government will follow suit. There should be a statue of him at the India Gate, Delhi.

What went WRONG?

(Organiser, 9.8.2015);This refers to the article titled ‘What went WRONG?’ by Nishant Kr Azad in Organiser. Hockey India is in a mess again. Coaches are being hired and fired. Since Hockey India was formed in 2009, four foreign coaches have been shown the exit door. The latest casualty is Paul van Ass, who has been sacked just four months from his tenure. Previously, Jose Brasa, Michael Nobbs and Terry Walsh were removed. My point is that when in Bharat itself we have got good coaches why to appoint foreign coaches. In fact sometimes it becomes difficult for players of Bharat to have a good rapport with the foreign coaches.  It has been rightly said by the writer that it is just a year left for the Rio Olympics and Bharat’s hockey continues to be in the news for wrong reasons.
M C SHARMA, Panki, Kanpur

Bad conduct on part of Congress

This refers to the disruption of parliamentary proceedings by the Congress Party. A response through the Right to Information Act reveals that Chairpersons of both Houses of the Parliament  have sufficient powers to take action against Members disrupting parliamentary proceedings. But these powers are hardly exercised in practice. The behaviour of some parliamentarians of Bharat especially from the Congress Party, who have been shouting from their seats, raising slogans and rushing to the well of The House, is utterly disgraceful and undemocratic. They are causing huge loss of several crores of rupees to the public exchequer. Every disrupting Member of the Parliament must be penalised to recoup the loss from wasting Parliament’s valuable time. The money can be used for the development of the country.
