(Organiser,5.7.2015); I read the article ’A Tale of Two Ghaznavis’ in Organiser by Tvette RamRani Rosser with a keen interest. My mother used to tell me about the brutalities which the Muslims committed on the Hindus. They desecrated our temples as they did in Somnath. Some years ago when I went to Gujarat I was thinking how the Muslims led by Mahmud Ghaznavi would have looted and destroyed the Somnath Temple. In my mind I was picturing how the brave Rajputs must have fought to save the Somnath Temple from the Muslims like their Sikh brothers who fought against the Afghans to save the Golden Temple at Amritsar. I think both the communities have the same type of blood in their veins. I was sorry to learn that the Brahmins instead of attacking the looters were requesting the Muslim invaders not to desecrate the image (murti) of Lord Somnath. It is because of the weakness of the Brahmins that Guru Tegh Bahadur sacrificed himself to save the temples and Hindu Dharma. This also shows that Guru Gobind Singh did the right thing when he formed the Khalsa Panth to face these people (Maleshas as the Guru used to call them). We don't need Islam, a religion of fanatics, invaders and terrorists. We are proud of the light given to us by the Vedas and other Hindu holy books.

Justice on Vacation
(Organiser, 14.6.2015); Apropos of the article ‘Justice on Vacation’ by Sant Kumar Sharma in Organiser. I appreciate the article very much. I also feel that why does the apex court, which have as many as 67,320 cases of various kinds pending before it, need such a long siesta? Consider what would happen if every institution goes on a vacation as do the Supreme Court. There would be a public outcry. The Supreme Court gets away lightly because, by and large, the people of India have a high respect for the institution’s independence and integrity. It is not only my personal view but also the views expressed by an eminent personality late V R Krishna Iyer, that courts should work resembling causality wing of a hospital. Does the Supreme Court not realise how long cases are dragged even in normal situation.

India’s Gift to the World
(Organiser, 21.6.2015);This refers to the article ‘India’s Gift to the World’ by Yvette RamRani Rosser in Organiser. In this regard I would like to refer to the statement of Anjaneya, Minister of Social Welfare, Karnataka government led by the Congress. He says that Yog is for the lazy people and not for the labourers who work in the field and keep their body fit. He is blindly opposing the programme and the policy of the NDA-2 government since he is a minister belonging to the Congress Party. When the whole world has recognised Yog, our so-called honourable minister is snubbing and mocking at it, and this is how we are practicing our democracy, what a shame. Here I wish to inform that Yog is for both physical and also mental health. For people who work in the field, Yog is for relaxing their voluntary muscles and people who work in offices Yog is for relaxing their involuntary muscles. This clearly shows that some of our ministers are not only ignorant but also arrogant.
