“Our attitude while dealing with the fellow workers and also with the people of the society should be polite. Ego should have no place in a worker’s life. It is must to spread the organisation work. The workers should also refrain from claiming credit of the good work,” said RSS Uttar Kshetra Sanghachalak Dr Bajranglal Gupt while speaking at the national executive meeting of Saksham in Meerut. National president of Saksham Dr Milind Madhav Kasabekar, general secretary Shriram Agrawal, organising secretary Dr Kamalesh Kumar, joint organising secretary Dr Sukumar, vice president Shri Kashinath Kakkaraju and secretary Shri Gangaduaran were also present. A total of 44 workers from 24 Prants attended the meeting.
Dr Gupt spoke at length on how a worker should deal with the fellow workers and the people. He said the society is looking at us with hope and therefore our conduct should be transparent. He advised the workers to evaluate themselves at times. Friendly conduct helps us developing new workers and it ultimately helps the organisation to spread wings in new areas. On this occasion Dr Kasabekar declared new responsibilities for senior workers. Shri Raghunath Vispule will be national joint treasurer. Shri Vinod Prakash will be the incharge of the work among visually challenged people.

Opposition to Yog is unfortunate — Shantakka Tai

“Today the whole world has huge expectations from India. In this scenario, Hinduism is going to be the key for transformation. Bharat gaining importance is evident from the fact that 177 countries in the UNO supported International Day of Yog. Be it US President Obama or Arab countries, all accepted Yog an essential for health. This being true, the opposition to Yog in Bharat is highly unfortunate,” said Rashtra Sevika Samiti Pramukh Sanchalika Shantakka Tai while addressing the closing ceremony of Akhil Bharatiya Pravin Shiksha Varg of the Samiti in Nagpur on June 17. Smt Ashwarya Bhati, member of the High Court Bar Association presided over the function. Smt Veda Kulkarni also shared the dais.

Shantakka Tai further said the traditions are wiping out day-by-day, but fortunately youth are on the right path. They are not driven by materialistic, monetary goals, they aim at eternal happiness. Youth are largely contributing in bringing about positive change in the society. But each individual’s contribution in this direction is needed. Smt Ashwarya Bhati said if the family institution is strengthened the whole nation would be strengthened. 

ABVP march against addiction

Jammu & Kashmir unit of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarathi Paris-had (ABVP) organised a rally in Jammu against addiction. The rally began from the Government Higher Secondary School Ground in Ramban and passing through main market, Court Road, Bus Stand culminated back at the Higher Secondary School Ground. More than 1,000 students including a large number of girls from different schools of Ramban participated in the march along with their teachers. The rally was flagged off by ADC Ramban Shri Baburam. Deputy CEO of Ramban Shri Balji Thaploo was the guest of honour on this occasion. ABVP State organising secretary Shri Pawan Sharma called upon the youth to play a rival role in eradication of menace of addiction. Shri Babram advised the students to focus on their studies and be a responsible citizen. Refreshment was provided by police and education departments.

Sixth national convention of Shaikshik Mahasangh to be held in Nagpur on October 9

The sixth national convention of the Akhil Bharatiya Rashtriya Shaik-shik Mahasangh will be organised from October 9 to 11 in Nagpur. The preparations of the convention were discussed and finalised at the national executive meeting of the Mahasangh organised in Delhi on June 14. Organising secretary of the Mahasangh Shri Mahendra Kapoor discussed various aspects of the convention. The meeting also decided to organise an exhibition showcasing the journey of the Mahasangh at the convention. Apart from it, preparation of a documentary about the activities of the Mahasangh was also discussed. The national convention will discuss various issues concerning the teachers and also the education sector. Some teachers will also be honoured with Shiksha Bhushan Puraskars at the convention for the valuable contribution to the education sector. 

Nation remembers icon of national resurgence

Nation remembered the great social reformer, icon of national resurgence and RSS founder Dr Keshavrao Baliram Hedgewar on his 75th punyatithi on June 21. The day coincided with the first International Day of Yog. Born on April 1, 1889 Dr Hedgewar had passed away on June 21, 1940. He founded the RSS in Nagpur in 1925.

VHP-Bajrang Dal protest against withdrawing cases against KFD-PFI

Karnataka unit of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal and Hindu Jagarana Vedike staged a massive protest at the Freedom Park of Bengaluru against State Government’s decision to selectively withdrawing criminal cases against the KFD, PFI. VHP zonal organising secretary Shri Gopal Nagarakatte, Shri Jagadish Karant of Hindu Jagarana Vedike, VHP leader Shri TAP Shenoy, Shri Rajashekarananda Swamiji of Vajradeji Matha Uppugodu near Mangaluru, Bajrang Dal convener Shri Satyanarayan Rao, Shri Sharan Pumpwell and others addressed the protestesters.
