Stressing on emotional integration of Vanvasis, RSS Sarsangha-halak Shri Mohan Bhagwat appealed to the countrymen to go to the Vanvasis taking it as their national duty. He was speaking at the Vanvasi Raksha Parivar Kumbha organised by Shri Hari Satsangh Samiti in Delhi on December 21. Swami Satyamitrananda Giri said one can see the image of Sri Ram among Vanvasis, but we never tried to see that image. “Fact is that Christian Missionary could succeed in their game plans only because of our negligence. Now bringing back all those who have left is the responsibility of all,” he said adding that Vanvasis too have sacrificed their lives for the nation.
VHP patron Shri Ashok Singhal said 9 crore Vanvasis and 18 crore deprived people in the country are being targeted by Christian Missionaries for conversion. But this conspiracy has to be foiled at any cost as it is weakening our nation.
The work of Vanvasi Raksha Parivar is going on in Delhi for the last 7 years and about 25,000 families are associated with it. The target is to bring at least one lakh families under this fold.
Earlier on December 20, while speaking at ‘Virat Hindu Sammelan’ in Kolkata Shri Mohan Bhagwat stressed upon the unity of Hindus. Expressing support for the Anti-Conversion Bill to be proposed by the Central Govern-ment Shri Bhagwat asked Opposition parties to facilitate bringing law in the Parliament, if they do not like conversion. VHP president Dr Pravin Togadia said Hindus have taken vow to stop all subversive activities of any party including TMC and Hindus will save the Motherland.
