Bharat Parikrama Yatra Enters Third Year?

Intro: 8,330 km walk in 730 days for village development by veteran RSS Pracharak Shri Sitaram Kedilaya.?

Bharat Parikrama Yatra being conducted by veteran Sangh Pracharak Shri Sitaram Kedilaya completed two years on August 9. Starting from Kanyakumari on August 9, 2012, Shri Kedilaya has so far walked 8,330 km distance educating villagers for reshaping their destiny themselves. On August 9, 2014 the yatra was in Philibhit, Uttar Pradesh and it was 730th day. Senior RSS functionaries congratulated Shri Kedilaya on the successful completion of two years of the Yatra.
The yatra is scheduled to visit Ayodhya on September 3. It will enter ‘Naimisharanya’ on August 11 and continue its journey in Avadh Pranth of Uttara Pradesh. The Yatra spent nearly 156 days from February 26, 2014 to August 1 at Uttarakhand. The Yatra had entered Uttarakhand from Himachal Pradesh and travelled across the villages creating awareness about conservation of water, ecology and rural Indian values in village life.


Sevika Samiti celebrates Raksha Bandhan with Police and Civic officers?

This year the Rashtra Sevika Samiti volunteers celebrated Raksha Bandhan with police constables and other civic officers on August 11. They tied Rakhi to Police officers at Basavanagudi Police Station, South Bengaluru.


BKS for Ganga-Kumari National Waterways

To a nation torn on all sides in inter-state river water disputes and simultaneous drought and floods in different parts of the land, Bharatiya Kisan Sangh demanded Ganga-Kumari (Kanyakumari) National Waterways Scheme. To highlight the benefits of the scheme, Tamil Nadu unit of Bharatiya Kisan Sangh convened a conference in Madurai on August 2. Sri RVS Marimuthu, Dakshin Tamil Nadu RSS Prant Sanghachalak and president of Bharatiya River Linking Movement presided over the conference. Professor AC Kamaraj, member of the Experts Committee of the scheme, delivered the keynote address.                                                    (VSK Tamil Nadu)??


Swayamsevaks celebrate Raksha Bandhan with Bishop?

Imbuing the spirit of communal harmony, RSS swayamsevaks on August 10 celebrated Raksha Bandhan by tying Rakhi to the Bishop of Mangalore, Aloysius Paul D’Souza. RSS Sah-Vibhag Pracharak Shri Pradeep, Mahanagar Sampark Pramukh Shri Harshavardhan, ABVP’s Shri Ravichandra, Shri Laveen Kotian, Shri Ramesh and BJP’s Capt Brijesh Chouta were there in the delegation. They also tied Rakhi to local MLA JR Lobo.
