(Organiser, 13.10.2013) This refers to ‘ABVP demands a serious debate’ in Organiser in which ‘Right to reject’ and ‘100 per cent polling’ have been commended, to strengthen democracy. Both of these suggestions may look good, but are unpracticable and are not going to give desired results, as India is suffering from so many disabilities. First of all, we have around 20 per cent Muslim voters, who are no different from Pakistanis. They always vote for corrupt anti-Hindu, anti-national political parties, who in turn to appease further their Muslim vote-bank, become polite with Muslim terrorists and appease Pakistan at the cost of national security, and also demoralises our security forces. Due to continuous repaid rise in Muslim population things are going to be very bad in the times to come. Complete exchange of population with Pakistan and Bangladesh is the only solution. This is the most serious problem. Secondly, Hindus are divided in so many ways. Even if we ensure unpracticable 100 per cent voting, how is it going to help? I find, even well educated and well to do persons saying that they do not find any difference between BJP and Congress. When they are told that even an illiterate Muslim clearly understands the difference between the two parties, BJP and Congress, they do not seem to be convinced. Then there are people who are carried away by cheap slogans, false promises, incapable of understanding national issues. There are many who understand only caste and local issues, and many more who are eager to sell their votes for small offer of cash or in kind. And lastly right to reject is a ridiculous concept. Who would bother to go to the polling booth only to tell that no candidate was acceptable? No body. Some measures like teaching of nationalism, moral and social values based on our ancient literature could be taken up, but that is impossible in the present national and constitutional setup, because that would be treated as communal.

No use shedding crocodile tears In the election meeting in Gwalior Rahul Gandhi dramatised the situation by saying that his mother cried desperately because she could not vote in the Parliament on the issue of Food Security Bill as he (Rahul Gandhi) was dragging her away to the hospital. Surely the crowd in Gwalior must have sympathised with the plight of mother and son. But will sympathy for such a filial situation translate in to votes for the party? I feel Rahul’s election tutor for Madhya Pradesh election is not coaching Rahul properly. Rahul and his tutor are living in a fool’s paradise as they feel that public will vote for Congress if Rahul sheds some crocodile tears. But the situation is the other way round. Now public knows that Congress is a Party of cheats and they will not vote for it.

BJP president meets violence victims in Muzaffarnagar (Organiser, 27.10.2013); The recent communal riots in Muzaffarnagar and in other parts of Uttar Pradesh within one and a half years of Sawajwadi Party assuming office, throwing the State in to communal cauldron, shows the discriminatory politics on communal lines. Vote-bank politics is responsible for the huge loss of life and property along with the consequence of further widening the cleavages between the two communities. Even after India getting Partitioned on religious grounds, the present politics of vote-bank may likely to result in separatism with greater demands along with further radicalisation. Such political parties still boast of being secular and never get tired discussing about 2002 Gujarat riots, blaming BJP and RSS for it. Where these UP riots not directly or indirectly sponsored by the rulers of the State due to their biased politics. Notably, the criminal culture of dragging the girls, eloping and molesting them on grounds of religion that spark the communal flare-up seem to be well planned strategy or some type of jihad to destabilise India needs to be analysed. Now one can define secularism as the politics of vote-bank persecuting some and appeasing the other resulting in butchering nationalism, but still secular.

Don’t Roll; Rule the World!(Organiser, 15.9.2013); This is with reference to Don’t Roll; Rule the World by Dr Pravin Togadia in Organiser. Good article and very informative. I think such things should be brought to the notice of our saints and religious heads. When these personalities will take such issues amongst the devotees, the talk of swadeshi and fighting for swadeshi will catch the imagination of the common men.

Hindus and the future of India (Organiser, 15.9.2013); The only option that is left for the Indian Union is to abrogate Article 370 at any cost. Ensure Kashmiri Pundits , who are willing to go back , are re-settled in the Valley and convicts released from jails are also encouraged to start a fresh life in the Valley. People from other states who are also willing to settle in Kashmir must also be given the opportunity. Separatists will spew venom and Valley will burn, which any how is burning for many decades. Interlocutrs will also cry foul and many more will oppose tooth and nail abrogation of Article 370 as it will damage India’s secular credentials. But for millions of nationalists like us secularism and Article 370 lost its relevance when Kashmiri Muslims disrupted the only one day match ever played in the Valley between India and West Indies with anti India and pro Pakistan slogans. And when Kashmiri Muslims mourned the death of Zia-ul-Haq on the streets and observed bandh. Kashmiri Muslims took advantage of Article 370 and drove out handful of Hindu Pundits from the Valley and who have become refugee in their own country. Is this not enough for Omar and company to understand why people from the Valley are looked upon with suspicion. Godhra obsessed Media has never ever championed the cause of the Hindu Pundits.
