Malinithan Temple is a ruin of a temple site, which is a popular pilgrimage centre in Arunachal Pradesh. It is situated at the foot of the Siang Hills under the Likabali sub-division of West Siang District of Arunachal Pradesh. This temple at Malinithan is dedicated to Goddess Durga and is built on the classical tradition of Orissa. The ruins of Durga Temple in Malinithan were hidden until the series of excavation started from 1968 and ending 1971.
Akashiganga is one of the most significant pilgrimage points located at a distance of 12 kms in the north-eastern State of Arunachal Pradesh. Akashiganga provides a magnificent view of the River Brahmaputra that flows far below. It is known for its picturesque beauty. Tourists throng it in winter. Akashiganga is believed to be associated with the legend of Parvati narrated in the 8th century Kalika Purana. It is said that Lord Shiva roamed in the sky with the dead body of Parvati (Sati). To bring him out of attachment for the dead body Lord Vishnu using his Sudarshan Chakra cut the body into pieces. During this process it is said that one of the body piece fell in the area which is 12-km from Malinithan towards West Siang District.

Home to the Buddhist Lamas and Monks Bomdila Monastery lies in the west Kameng district and is located near Tipi Orchid Research Centre at the bank of River Bharali in Arunachal Pradesh. Also known as Gentse Gaden Rabgyel Lling, this Monastery is a famous pilgrimage spot of the Lamaistic faith which belongs to Mahayana Buddhism. Built in 1965 it accommodates a number of Buddhist lamas and monks who follow Mahayana Buddhism. Bomdila Monastery temple is situated at about 8,500 feet above the sea level surrounded by apple orchads in the beautiful town of Bomdila. Twang Monastery in Arunachal Pradesh is the largest monastery in India . It was founded near the small town of the same name in the north-western part of Arunachal Pradesh by Merak Lama Lodre Gyatso in 1680-1681 in accordance with the wishes of the 5th Dalai Lama. The monastery belongs to the Gelugpa school and has a religious association with Drepung Monastery in Lhasa, which continued during the period of British rule. It is very close to the Tibetan Border, in the Valley of the Tawang-chu which flows down from Tibet. Tawang Monastery temple is a famous Buddhist temple in Arunachal Pradesh and is very much popular all over India. This Buddhist Tawang Monastery Temple is located at the top of a beautiful mountain and has golden statue of the Lord Buddha of about 8.3 meter high. The monastery is three stories high and occupies an area of 140 sq m. It is enclosed by a 610 m long compound wall. Within the complex there are 65 residential buildings and ten other structures. Tawang Monastery is one of the largest monasteries of Mahayana sect in Asia. The monastery is also known in Tibetan as Galden Namgey Lhatse, which translates to ‘celestial paradise in a clear night.’ The library of the monastery has valuable old scriptures, mainly Kanjur and Tanjur, numbering 850 bundles. The term ‘Tawang’ literally means ‘Chosen Horse’. It’s magnificent location attracts the solace seekers with its scenic environs along with the lush forests, smiling vales and the gurgling streams. Also known as ‘Galden Namgyal Lhatse’, Tawang Monastery is also popular as the birth place of sixth Dalai Lama.
GRL Gompa also known as Gentse Gaden Rabgyel Ling Monastery, is located in West Kameng District ofArunachal Pradesh. It is the Upper Gompa of Bomdila, the administrative headquarters of West Kameng District. The monastery was built by the 12th reincarnate of Tsona Gontse Rinpoche in 1965–66 and resembles the Tsona Gontse Monastery, at Tsona in South Tibet.
Meghna Cave Temple which is dedicated toLord Shiva . It was carved out some 5,000 years back but rediscovered only in 1962. Even if one does not believe in God this place must be visited to enjoy incredibly beautiful place on this planet.The temple is situated about 300 feet high on the mountain and the access is through artificial steps.It take about 10 minutes to climb the steps. But once you reach the cave and take a look out side you will go berserk to see the paradise.You will find panorama of mountains with dense green forest , a big river flowing with roar in the gorge below , making beautiful water ponds on the way and the rain clouds spread over mountain peaks and lot of things there which makes it like a pardise. This place is some 20 kms from Daporijo. The weather is healthy with fresh and sweet air all the time. Parasuram Kund Temple in Arunachal Pradesh is a famous temple that attracts many Hindu devotees. Parasuram Kund Temple is dedicated to the legendary man Parusuram who washed away all his sinful acts in kund for killing his mother. From then onwards people have started visiting Parasuram Kund Temple and take holy dip to wash away all their sins. It is the most significant pilgrimage centre which is situated at a distance of 13 miles to the north-eastern part of Tezu. Located on the banks of the Brahmaputra River it is nested amidst the huge range of mountains. A temple of Lord Parasuram is located near the Kund and every year a fair is held here. Hundreds of pilgrims come every year on the festival of Makara Sankranti in January to take a dip in the holy water It is believed that that the sacred water of the pond washes away all sins and is considered as pious as the water of River Ganga
