‘Hindu Ahead’ movement for Hindu security and prosperity launched

RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat launched a unique movement, ‘Hindu Ahead’, in Ahmedabad on March 31. ‘Hindu Ahead’ stands for Hindu safety and prosperity. It aims at reaching out to Hindus, even in remotest villages down to Vanvasi areas.

Shri Bhagwat unveiled a huge ‘Hindu Ahead’ logo and inaugurated the movement in a large gathering assembled at Ahmedabad’s Kankaria Football Ground. Addressing the huge gathering he said: “We want to see ‘Hindu Ahead’ for Bharat. Right now Hindu is a Hindu just in his thoughts but not so much in his behaviour. We want to build a true, strong and good Hindu who is ‘Hindu’ in his conduct also. Where there is sattva, there is strength and there only is Lakshmi. Sattva means – being Hindu in behaviour.”

VHP president Shri Raghav Reddy urged the Hindus to stand up for Hindu cause. He said Hyderabad, Assam, Kashmir, Kerala and in almost all states the Hindus are facing attacks from the fanatics. Therefore the Hindus from all walks of life must now stand up against this and should strengthen ‘Hindu Ahead’ movement. VHP is now surging ahead with a new vision and with previous commitments like Sri Ram Temple in Ayodhya. All VHP supporters should now gear up for Hindu safety and prosperity.

Explaining the concept and aspects of the Hindu Ahead, VHP working president Dr Pravin Togadia said, “In Bharat, the Hindus are being attacked, persecuted and targeted by minorities, Governments and so-called seculars. Hindus themselves now will stand up through three simple steps of ‘Hindu Ahead’. They are, be a Practicing Hindu, be an Aware Hindu and be an Active Hindu. Through this, all over the Hindus will be able to keep themselves aware of Hindu related issues, make others aware and be an active Hindu by holding and participating in small group meetings, discussing the current happenings, sharing them with other Hindus through Face Book, Twitter, What’s App as well as by discussing personally with other Hindus and peacefully protesting in their own ways.”

Dr Togadia said being a practicing Hindu is simple—planting and watering Tulsi and other trees; respecting and helping elders daily, feeding cows daily, helping a needy Hindu student and youth, etc. These simple steps will take ‘Hindu Ahead’. Hindus safety and security is must for achieving and maintaining prosperity. If Hindus are not safe then any amount of their income, property, education, job, business are not secured. Hindu Ahead will also aim at other dimensions of Hindu security such as food security, education and job security, business/traditional trades security; agricultural land and produce security for farmers’ well-being; health security through Dhanvantari Health Line connecting over 10,000 expert doctors with the needy Hindus all over Bharat for free. These are only a few glimpses of ‘Hindu Ahead’ movement, Dr Togadia added.

Dr Togadia announced that by Janmashtami of 2015, every village (over 18,000) and every corner of a town / city of Gujarat would have Hindu Rashtra boards with the VHP Hindu Ahead volunteers ensuring safety, security and prosperity of Hindus. The Hindu Ahead aims at reaching out to 1,00,000 villages and small habitats. VHP joint general secretary Shri Vinayakrao Deshpande and advocate Dileepbhai Trivedi, State president, Gujarat VHP, delivered a welcome speech. In the Hindu Sangam, organised on the occasion, noted saints like Swami Purushottam Charandas Shastri and Swami Navottam Swamy addressed the gathering. (FOC)
