Mumbai swayamsevak unfurls saffron flag at Antarctica, South Pole

A RSS swayamsevak from Mumbai, Rajesh Asher, unfurled the saffron flag at Antarctica, the Earth’s southernmost continent, containing the geographic South Pole, early at 2.02 am on December 7. Rajesh Asher, also a professional Chartered Accountant, hails from Chembur in Mumbai.

He went to Antarctica along with a team and reached the Southern Pole on December 6 night. At 2.02 am on December 7, he went to unfurl the flag. Later, he enchanted the Sangh prayer, Namasate Sada Vatsale Mathrubhoome…. He also chanted few shloka’s and mantras from the Vedas.       (FOC)
