A three-day Deendayal Upadhyaya Smriti Mahotsava was organised at Farah village of Mathura from October 12 to 14. The event witnessed many activities in the presence of many distinguished personalities. Sanskar Bharati artists presented touching cultural shows while some leading poets thrilled the people through highly inspiring poems.

Addressing the gathering on October 13 VHP general secretary (organisation) Shri Dinesh Chandra said the solution to many problems the country is facing today is integral humanism of Pt Deendayal Upadhyaya. BJP leader Shri Vijay Katiyar said the country has been ruined by extreme Muslim appeasement and without antyodaya there is no other way out. Referring to the Kosi riots he said only innocent people are being victimised in the name of investigation. The RSS Kshetra Pracharak Shri Shivprakash said FDI is nothing but selling the country to MNCs.

Secretary of the Samiti Dr Roshanlal apprised the people about the projects run under Deendayal Smarak. A wrestling competition was organised at night in which many wrestlers participated.
