(Organiser, 12.8.2012);This refers to ‘Pakistan’s  rethink and redefinition of itself proves Guruji as a seer’ in Organiser, and similar article in Organiser dt. 5.8.2012. He has mentioned some quotations from ‘Pakistan’s establishment website’ on its heritage. One can see that these are just copies of the ancient Indian history written by Westen historians. Nowhere Pakistan’s website mentions that they are proud of it. It amounts to befooling oneself, that by simply quoting ancient history, Pakistan has taken a U-turn and accepted Hindu heritage as its own. In fact Pakistan is very much proud of Islam, and says that “Islam replaced worship of idols and introduced new philosophy of faith in one God”. Pakistan is also proud of its “new culture from Arabia and Central Asia” as quoted by Shri Gurumurthy. The reality is that Pakistan is steadily increasing its hostilities and doing all sort of mischief’s against India, and this is evident from day to day news in the media. Indian Muslims are no different from the Pakistani or Bangladeshi Muslims, and they mix up with illegal infiltrators, making it difficult to separate them.  Now coming to the views of Guruji, which have been twisted to prove something, which is not in our national interests, and helpful in misguiding the Hindus, who have already been befooled by Gandhi, Nehru and Congress leaders. Guruji was of the firm conviction, that with the change of religion to Islam , a Muslim’s love for India also changes, and he feels oneness with our enemies. (See page 38 ‘Samanvey Key Sumeru Shri Guruji) published by  Suruchi Prakashan). There are large number of such views expressed by Shri Guruji on various occasions. Dr BR Ambedkar and Lala Lajpat Rai a great freedom fighter also had similar opinion about Muslims, that teachings of Islam would never allow them to be friendly with Hindus.

His culpability exposed Manmohan hides behind Sonia’s belligerence (Organiser, 2.09.2012); This is with reference to Dr R Balashankar’s front page article titled ‘His culpability exposed Manmohan hides behind Sonia’s belligerence’ in Organiser. Prime Minister Manmohan  Singh’s reply in the  Parliament  of his government’s policy of allocating coal blocks is far from convincing.  He has misled the Parliament by saying that it was the Opposition ruled states that resisted the switch to competitive bidding. I thing Manmohan Singh is not aware that even the Congress ruled states like Maharashtra initially opposed the auctioning. Irrespective of the policies followed by earlier governments, the government should aim at making better policies that maximise revenues or  benefit to the common  man. The people are tired of such baseless explanations from a government  that is facing an increasing number  of scams and corruption charges. Its  time for  real action.

Pak jehadism makes life hell for Hindus (Organiser, 26.8. 2012); The live telecast on a Pakistani television channel of  a Hindu boy’s  conversion to Islam has not only earned that country’s hypersensational electronic media more brickbats but also sparked fears of religious persecution among the country’s  already marginalised minority communities, particularly the Hindus. It remains unclear whether or not the conversion was a voluntary act, although  it does not require a stretch of imagination to believe that it could  very well  have  been a forced conversion that has become increasingly common in Pakistan. Recently a 19 year old girl was abducted and forcibly converted to Islam and married off to a Muslim. Only days latter a Christian woman was subjected to the  same fate. Religious  conversions are just one tool in the Islamists’s larger campaign of persecution of religious minorities. The programme includes everything from social  ostracisation and economic discrimination to abductions and killings.

Metro halted to build illegal mosque (Organiser,  29.7.2012); This  is with reference to the front page article title ‘Metro halted to build illegal mosque.’ It seems under Congress rule Delhi has become Islamic theocracy and Sheila Dikshit seems to have embrassed Islam though her name is Hindu she has become Muslim by  character. Shame on Sheila, shame on Congress for violation of this sort of Human Rights and Democratic norms and promoting Islam in the name of Secularism. There are live examples  that even in Islamic theocracies like Pakistan, Bangadesh, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, etc. a large number of mosques, have been demolished for road widening, construction of bridges and dams, railway tracks, etc. but in so-called secular India,  despite of the fact that majority of the voters are Hindus, there sentiments are disregarded and in some bogus name and claim illegal mosques are constructed with silent permission of Islamic, communal Congress. Latest example is of a mosque which was being illegally constructed at Netaji Subhash Park,  Delhi, where actually remnants, of Pandav era temple (temple wall) were found accidentally while digging  for Metro rail route. Without going into any details Sheila Dikshit  a Hindu lady of Muslim character immediately  changed the sanctioned route of DMRC to facilitate illegal mosque construction under bogus name as Akbarabadi mosque. Actually there is no historic evidence of existence of any mosque in that area.  Ironically, near Qutub Minar a mosque has been built with remains of 27 Hindu  temples. If Sheila is really a humanbeing she should immediately handover this mosque to Hindus and prove her respect for democracy and secularism. Secularism for Sheila Dikshit means Islamisation  of Delhi for political gains. As per laid  down laws  the mosques which are under the control of Archeological Department,  nobody is supposed to gather there to offer namaz  but,  there are 36 such mosques wherein Muslims are going and offering namaz violating the law. I feel ashamed to read and know that as per government survey there are more then 175 mosques, maqbaras, dargahs being illegally built in Delhi. What a shame for Municipal Corporation of Delhi, New Delhi Municipal Corporation and Delhi Police. I am sure, every Hindu voter who voted to this de jure Islamic  character, Sheilal Dikshit must be cursing  themselves because with their Hindu votes she is Islamising Delhi. What a cheating! What a treason!! There are more than 30,000 famous Hindu temples spread all over India which are being  demolished  on record to build mosques.  We are all aware that even our historical legendry temple of Sri Ram is not being allowed to be rebuilt. Your article is a proof of  the Islamic character of Congress that is at present  ruling Delhi. Now is the time that we all Hindus should unite and follow the guidelines as given in your editorial that Hindus should learn a lesson from our Muslim brothers, stand together, speak in one  voice and take government to task if it is not listening to  the Hindus. After going through your esteemed weekly I feel that no Hindu will vote for Sheila’s tribe and that the tribe will meet political death in ensuing elections. Wooing Islam will go counter productive and result in political loss.

Assam violence not the only blot The Assam violence is not the only blot to the image of  India under the UPA government. There are many others like corruption and inflation. Communalism and reservations are based on caste and indirectly on religion are also among the most shameful of the blots. Infact if the government really wants peace in India, it should do away with quotas and  reservation except when they are based on an economic criterion alone. Also there should be no further division of states on the basis of regionalism. Sarder Patel had unified India by getting  princely states to join the  Union of India.  We can not allow divisions now such as for a separate Telangana, Bodoland, Gorkhaland and Vidarbha, etc.

Think before you speak Union Steel Minister, Beni Prasad Verma’s remarks that he  is happy over the  rising prices of food items as it would benefit the farmer’s  is highly illogical  and irresponsible. This shows that our politicians are not only far away from the reality but are even ignorant of basic economic  concepts. Verma is wrong  in thinking that inflation favours a particular section of people. Infact inflation has a negative impact on all and inflicts handships on farmers and consumers alike. It reflects Verma’s poor knowledge of economics—infact the benefit of high prices of food items goes to intermediaries and blackmarketers.

India’s poor show at London Olympics Though India has achieved its biggest ever Olympic haul  of six medals, it needs  to be realised that we won medals only in individual events. No team of India got any medal. Secondly London Olympics went by without a single gold medal for India and, by extension, without our National Anthem being played. India’s record haul of two silver and four bronze medals is no cause for celebration. A nation of 120 crore plus people cannot be without a wealth  of young  talent with the  potential to win more Olympic medals. But they are not identified and nurtured. Given India’s socio-economic conditions, many a talent wilts before it blooms into a world-class sports star for want of nurture. There are no short-cuts to sporting glory.  As the world’s second most populous  country, we can be proud of nothing less than, ten gold medals or a slot among top  five nations.

For many Indians ‘Independence Day’ is just a holiday On August 15, 2012, we celebrated our 65th Independence Day. But most of us feel awkward to call ourselves Indians and many of us even fail to understand the significance of this day. Prominent leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Shahid Bhagat Singh, Lokmanya Tilak, Subas Chandra Bose, Lala Lajpat Rai, Chandrashekar Azad, Dr Annie Besant, Sarojini Naidu and many others have played a vital role in gaining independence for India. But today’s youths don’t even understand the meaning of freedom and take it for granted. Maybe many of them had never had to undergo the harships faced by these leaders. Today Independence Day is nothing more than a holiday as youths just hang out with their friends.  Even today, we seldom stand united and instead choose to recognise ourselves on the basis of our caste, religion, etc. Instead of addressing ourselves as Indians first we proudly claim that we belong to a particular community. On January 26, 1950, the Indian Constitution was framed and we pledged that we would remain united irrespective of our background or religion. But 62 years later, we find ourselves in a democracy killed by selfish and self-centred political parties and their leaders that promote their people. Such acts will adversely affect the unity of the nation. Selfish attitudes of some people have broken and distorted the unity of the nation. Power-hungry political parties and criminals are dividing the people on the basis of caste, creed and religion. They are indulging in vote-bank politics which affects the development of the country. British Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill who in the year, 1947, had opposed to granting freedom to India had made this statement, “Power will go into the hands of rascals, rogues and freebooters, and all Indian leaders will be of low caliber and men of straw. They will have sweet tongues and silly hearts. They will fight amongst themselves for power and India will be lost in political squabbles. A day would come when even air and water would be taxed in India.” At that time, many in India were aghast with this statement. But today, however, we have to admit that Winston Churchill was not wrong. Even today’s social activist, Anna Hazare has the same thing to say, i.e. Corruption rules India.

Sonia’s  temper  The country has seen what ‘temper’ Sonia Maino Gandhi can exhibit in the Parliament towards the tallest political leader in the  country,  Advaniji, The people can imagine what temper she uses against her partymen—tall and short and even allies seeking help. No wonder they tremble before her. Even other party men must be shaking in their shoes if they have to meet her! What a great foreign leader India has: India that  was Bharat! And will be Bharat again soon.

A weak defence by UPA The UPA’s ‘Zero-loss’ theory is a weak defence. Finance Minister P Chidambaram’s contention that no coal mining meant no loss to the exchequer is self-delusional. It  has only propelled the Opposition to launch more attacks on the government. The same  theory was used by the Telecom Minister Kabil Sibal to defend the  government  in the 2 G Scam  but it proved futil. The UPA must come up with a plausible line of defence to calm the Opposition so that the Parliament can function smoothly.

Asha Kiran  I felt very sorry for India when I read a news item stating that the Delhi government has admitted that 228 deaths have taken place at the Asha Kiran, the capital’s lone home for  mentally challenged children and adults since 2005. These deaths have occurred mainly due to lack of health care facilities and unhygienic  conditions prevailing in the home.

Keshubhai Patel should join Congress Neither Congress Party nor newly formed Gujarat Parivartan Party (GPP) of Keshubhai Patel can confront against BJP in general and CM Shri Modi in particular in ensuing State Assembly elections on their own strength. It is absolutely necessary for them to come together along with all disgruntled elements in other parties. Infact he should join Congress instead of  floating new party to strengthen the hands of  the Congress, so that they can have effectively face Shri Modi. Let us see what type of parivartan (Change) would be made in Gujarat by  the GPP of Keshubhai.
