Silver jubilee of Akhil Bharatiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh
“Today we need student-centric education, women-centric family, human-centric development and knowledge-centric society to make Bharat a superpower. The teachers can play a key role in achieving all these goals, as they are effective means to change the social mentality,” said Akhil Bharatiya Sahsampark Pramukh of RSS Shri Aniruddha Deshpande. He was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of Akhil Bharatiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh silver jubilee in New Delhi on August 12. Shri Deshpande also expressed concern over declining values in the field of education.
Patron of the Mahasangh Prof K Narhari stressed the need of adopting individual, national and spiritual values and the teachers should take-up the cause of imparting education as a mission. General secretary of the Mahasangh Prof Jagdish Prasad Singhal spoke about the activities of the Mahasangh and stressed the need to make the organisation stronger in coming days.
President of the Mahasangh Dr Vimal Prasad Agrawal said the silver jubilee year is an opportunity for the activists to expand the organisational work. The function was organised by Delhi Adhyapak Parishad. National organising secretary of the Mahasangh Shri Mehendra Kapur, joint organising secretary Shri Ompal Singh and office bearers of many organisations were also present on the occasion. (FOC)
