Rajasthan Vanvasi Kalyan Parishad organised a five-day training camp for the women workers of Bal Samskar Kendras. A total of 289 workers attended the camp, which concluded on June 15. In the camp, the inmates practised math, arts, prayers and general knowledge. Discussions were also held on topics such as the objectives of Akhil Bharatiya Vanvasi Ashram, women contribution in dharm-raksha, self reliance, etc.
Kalyan Ashram zonal organising secretary Shri Suresh Kulkarni highlighted the glorious role played by Vanvasi women in the past. Gujarat State coordination incharge Smt Shailja Andhare stressed the need of strong character building. Sadhvi Pratima Gopal said the three mothers—dharti mata, gau mata and janam-datri mata are facing onslaughts.
