India’s Science no-show (Organiser, 15. 1.2012); In an editorial titled ‘India’s Science no-show’ in Organiser, it has been rightly mentioned that “What India needs today is more and better research… If the Prime Minister and subsequently the Cabinet Ministers were sincere in what they said, the government should follow up the words in action by setting in motion a course correction.” The editorial has rightly pointed out all the pros and cons prevailing at present in the field of science and technology. Scientific culture can be boosted only if brain drain is completely stopped. The slogan jai jawan, jai kisan and jai vigyan given by the former Prime Minister Shri Atal Behari Vajpayee should be taken into consideration while formulating national policies. Research and development expenditure should also be allotted to the desired need. In research work, the system of the studies prevailing in Nalanda and Taxsila Universities should be followed to make Bharat world leader again so that it can once again get the title of ‘Golden Bird’.

Republic Day Special (Organiser, 29,1,2012); At the outset I congratulate you for your excellent Republic Day Special, I pray to God that every issue of your weekly be as good as this one. With reference to the article ‘Free India from the Nehru-British model’ by MD Nalapat page18-21, in Republic Day Special I would like to say that I have always been propagating that Nehru’s dynastic rule is just an extension of East India Company’s colonial rule. The entire text of Shri Nalapat’s article totally supports my views. Ever since Sonia Maino got married to Rajiv she is promoting foreign interests, specially Italian at the cost of Indian economy. Now she is not only economically but also socially ruining India by directly promoting mass conversion of Hindus into Christianity to suit division of India into as many Christians theocracies as possible. She is also promoting Pan-Islamism in India to counter balance her sins. Hope we many see a day when this Nehru dynasty is politically liquidated by patriotic forces.

Illegal aliens ruining India (Organiser, 29.1.2012); This is refers to “Illegal aliens ruining India” by OP Gupta in Organiser , Republic Day Special. He has discussed in detail, the problems created by infiltration of Muslims from Bangladesh and Pakistan, helped by Congress and its allies. At the same time, Hindu and Sikhs refugees from Islamic countries are harassed and not given any help. He has suggested a “plan of action”, which is not practicable under the present Constitution of India and national set up, because the Constitution of India is secular and pro-Muslim and Muslims already in India as citizens have emotional attachment with Pakistan, Bangladesh and also with the Muslim terrorists. This fact is accepted by Congress also, that is why they are so mild with the Muslim jehadi terrorists. For Congress leaders, getting Muslim votes is more important than safety of the nation. We must accept that Muslims living in India as legal citizens are no different from Muslims living in Pakistan, Bangladesh or other Muslim countries. The fact that these Muslims voted for Muslim League for creation of Pakistan as their homeland in 1945-46 elections, also proves my contention. Even if India is able to flush out Muslim infiltrators, what are we going to do with the Muslims who are legally Indian. They are multiplying very fast, and even without infiltration, they would be in majority in Indian before the end of this century, converting this truncated India into akhand Pakistan, or at least another Partition of truncated India. Therefore the only alternative left is to make India a constitutionally Hindu (including Sikhs, Jains, Buddhists, etc.) rashatra, just as Pakistan and Bangladesh are Muslim countries, and ask for complete exchange of population as advocated by Jinnah and Muslim League, several times before August 15, 1947, but ignored and opposed by Gandhi, Nehru and Congress leaders, a treachery against the Hindu rashatra. Thus the only problem left is, as to how to achieve Hindu rashtra, which would solve not only the problem of Muslim infiltration, but many other serious problems also.

Undermines Constitution spreads communal poison (Organiser, 26.2.2012); The Congress always argues that the BJP has too many fundamentalists in its ranks. But the Law Minister Salman Khurshid’s obdurate stand on Muslim OBC quota and his ongoing skirmish with the Election Commission indicates that he too can, when required, behave like a fundamentalist. One feels that Khurshid is not fit to be the Law Minister of secular India. We needs leaders like Jai Prakash Narain and Atal Behari Vajpayee who can unite society and not divide. Salman Khurshid is making mistakes by going against the Election Commission’s directives. Being the Law Minister Khurshid should have known the rules set by the poll panel better than any other minister in his party. He should have handled the issue maturely. He must now tender any apology to the poll panel before the latter takes a strong against him and the Congress.

India should not become tool for West’s hegemony in West Asia (Organiser, 26.2.2012); The $ 20-billion Rafale deal between India and French company Dassault is good news for the country. But the government must realise that buying such expensive machines won’t solve its long-term problems. India will never be seen as a developed country till it starts meeting its own defence requirements. To overcome this problem and develop our homegrown firepower, the government must give better facilities to the scientists and the engineers at the Defence Research and Development Organisation .

This shows that UPA -2 formulates its policies in a rush, without taking into account the global economic trend.

The reluctance on Manmohan Singh’s part to consider him for Bharat Ratna shows his weakness as PM.

What BJP should do The ruling party, Congress has already a black spot on their face when they gave half of India to Muslims without any resistance or shedding a drop of blood in the shape of Pakistan. An example nowhere seen in the world history. Now they are well prepared to give another half to them in the next fifty years. Even now Hindus are being treated as class two citizens in their own country since they are not allowed to reconstruct the Mandir of their own God. Only BJP or jankranti can save this country form that position. They should come forward in the next General Elections with the following election manifesto: They will construct the Ayodhya Mandir with full grace and national honour; They will stop all subsidies for Haj Yatra and all other facilities that are being given to Muslims on religious basis; They will give no reservation to Muslims; They will seriously ban the cow slaughter. At present it is being sold openly in the market; They will call back all Hindus from Pakistan who want to come to India as they are passing a miserable life over there and shall give them Indian citizenship; They will give full respect toVandemataram, equal to national anthem. Further they should make it clear that they will not make government if they do not get the absolute majority of their own as they are not power hungry.

Implement NDP project After Talguppa-Honnavara/Hubli-Ankola Rail Projects and Gundia Hydro Electric Project, now it is the turn of the NDP(Netravati Diversion Project) to face the wrath of the Western Ghat region. NDP is another such similar project as Mullaperiya Dam Project wherein an westward flowing river is diverted towards eastward to irrigate mainly the arid regions of the south-east Karnataka like Tumkur, Chitradurga, Kolar, etc. When a project like Mullaperiya Dam can be implemented, we see no harm in bringing up NDP. The project if implemented can irrigate parts of the districts of Hassan, Tumkur, Chikkaballapura, Kolar, Ramanagara and Bengaluru Urban/Rural, by augmenting 149TMCFT of water, which can turn lakhs of acres of arid lands into green cover. When Kali Project and Sharavati Projects which also falls in the same range of western ghats region and are running smoothly since decades without being any hindrance to anything, we do not see any objection in implementing NDP. The only constraints we foresee is the selfish and adamant attitude of the people of the Dakshina Kannada people/ NGOs/activities and their reluctance to share things with the rest of the Karnataka State. Environment/bio-diversity is the lame excuse provided easily by any NGO/activitists in stopping the project coming up. I therefore appeal to Karnataka Government to make all efforts to implement this project, for a green revolution in the arid region of mainly south-east Karnataka region and request the Central government to provide a clearance to this project.

Holistic approach needed for permanent peace Recently a wholesale surrender of militants took place in Guwahati. While such a move is welcome, past experience shows that such move have not brought any real change in the disturbed conditions prevailing on the ground. For positive results to the militancy problem it has become imperative to bring the ongoing negotiations with the various outfits to a successful close. Any further delays will only keep the problem alive and encourage the anti-talk factions to increase their activities. The government also needs to tailor its policies according to the prevailing ground situation and concentrate with equal efforts to implement its policies on all front properly. Involvement of the public or civil society in the peace process can also help resolve impasses. I feel that first the Government must adopt a comprehensive policy to tackle militancy which must be transparent and inclusive so that the public which is the real stakeholders in this quest for peace is not kept in dark. Ceasefire regulations must be strictly enforced so that the surrendered militants do not get an opportunity to indulge in unlawful activities under the cover of the law. Surrender of cadres must be verified and all surrendered arms double locked. A proper mechanism to monitor development funds must be put in place and special audits regularly conducted to ensure timely implementation of projects and to check the funds from being siphoned off. Militant recruitment drives must be countered by intensive awareness programmes on the negative impact of militancy. Diplomatic pressure must be put on the neighbouring countries not to aid the militants. Negotiations must be concluded within a given time-frame and contingency plans prepared to break deadlocks and get positive results. Only a holistic approach alongwith result oriented negotiations can ensure permanent peace. Piecemeal solutions will only break up the region into pieces.

Why Supreme Court defended the PM? This has reference to the Honourable Supreme court’s judgements on 31.01.2012 and 02.02.2012 regarding sanction for prosecution in corruption cases and revocation of 122 2G licenses. With the apex court’s inquiry and CBI probe it was now become evident to the public mind that the delay in granting sanction for prosecution has spoilt its effective processing and proper and judicious understanding of the scam for administration of justice and has a demoralising effect on our governance and society. Even though the applicant, Dr Subramanian Swamy, the eminent public figure, a statesman and lawyer, repeatedly wrote to the Prime Minister with the relevant material facts and circumstances of the case highlighting the seriousness of the allegations of corruption and circular culpability, Manmohan Singh took no action. How can the apex court of the land defend the Prime Minister’s inaction or “masterly inactivity for 16 long months when the awakened aspirational country and nation seeks both progress and excellence. The apex court has observed that the full facts and legal position were not available to the Prime Minister. As the captain of the Cabinet system of Government, the Prime Minister has to own full responsibility and accountability for the collective decision and action in the 2-G Spectrum fiasco badly shaking our national economy and independence. A higher national judicial perspective is needed for the administration of justice in corruption cases to save our limping democracy and republic. It is our bounded duty to safe guard our national honour.
