The demonic midnight raid (Organiser, 19.6.2011); We can say that what happened on Sunday morning, i.e. 5.6.11 at the Ramlila Maidan was equivalent to Jalianwala Bagh incident. The only difference is that during the Jalianwala Bagh massacre India was not Independent and Gen. Dyer himself went and ordered the troops to fire on the innocent people who had gathered there. Whereas now India has become Independent and Dr Manmohan Singh sent the police force to attack the unarmed innocent people who had gathered at the Ramlila Maidan to listen to the views of Baba Ramdev. It is worse, because it has been done by the people within our own system and own institution, and the Congress party has turned our own institution against us. The normal citizens’ right to protest has been trampled. What is wrong in what people are demanding? They want corruption to cease. They want blackmoney stashed abroad to be returned back home and be declared as nations’ asset. I think that the Congress has forgotten that democracy is for the people, by the people and of the people.

It’s Revolution (Organiser, 22.5.11); I agree with the Organiser that the toppling of the Leftist regime in West Bengal is really a revolution or the second Independence. The Leftist regime in West Bengal was totally corrupt. The Marxist workers were looting the common people. The CPM card holders were an elite class getting all the facilities while the common people were harassed and hounded out badly. Similarly the Communist regime in Kerala was totally corrupt. According to the Statesman the Marxist bosses there were selling illegal hooch with the connivance of the police. Moreover enjoying power for 34 years in a democratic set-up is too long a time. So I congratulate the voters of West Bengal for taking the right decision at the right time.

A guide to Hindu Succession Act (Organiser , 22.5.11); This refers to “A guide to Hindu Succession Act” in the Bookmark page of Organiser. It discusses the property rights of women in a Hindu family. There are a number of questions, which arise out of this Act. Why a secular government is playing with the traditional social laws of the Hindus only? Even Britishers had regards for Hindu traditions, and gave respect to the Hindu scriptures, while framing Hindu laws. Why this secular government is afraid of farming laws for the Muslims so as to be in tune with the Article 14 of the Constitution ? A Muslim male is allowed to keep upto four wives and can simply divorce his wife by uttering the word talaq three times. Why similar rights should not be given to Muslim women to comply with ‘Equality before law’. This Muslim law treats Muslim women no better than an animal. Ancient Hindu traditional laws are very scientific and keep the families in harmony. The relationship between sons, daughters, parents, husband and wife etc. is not simply mechanical, as is being treated by the westernised legal experts. Since a daughter goes to the husbands family after her marriage, and becomes inseparable part of that family, she is respectfully departed with “Dowry” called Stridhan. She is also given gifts and offers on various social occasions to show love and happy social engagements. Division of immovable property between brother and sister is creating social tension. It does not in any way add to her status. Infact, after marriage, a woman should share the property of her husband, for whom she has left her own parents and family. That was the background of traditional Hindus Law, which deserve to be respected.

The fading cultural identity of Kashmiri Pandits (Organiser 10.4.11); The story of jehadi barbarity, inflicted on a Kashmiri Pandit youth, the only son of his parents, which Shri Dhar has reproduced in his article has shattered my heart. I feel sorry that I cannot help them in any way. I do feel belittled in my own eyes. However as a penance I have decided not to celebrate the festivals of Holi, Deepawali and Dushera till Kashmiri Pandits are able to lead a life free from jehadi threats. It is shameful for our great country, where genuine inhabitants of the Valley are made destitutes but Bangladeshies are welcomed and taken care of. What to speak of leaders of any political party our sant samaj has also not taken this issue seriously. This issue is no less alarming than Ram Setu and Ram Mandir issue.

Why to leave Manmohan and grill ailing Vajpayee? In an outrageous move, the Chacko-led Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) on 2G Scam has decided to summon former PM Shri Atal Behari Vajpayee to depose before the committee. The move to include Shri Vajpayee’s name in the witness list is inhuman. The former PM is bedridden for months due to illness. Considering the sort of respect Vajpayee enjoys across the political spectrum,no sensible leader will take the decision to summon him before the JPC. Vajpayee’s name has been included in the draft witness list on the insistence of the Congress members who argued that since the former PM held the telecom portfolio for a short period in 1999, his deposition was crucial to understand the policy changes brought about by the NDA government in 2000. It is interesting that the draft list did not contain the name of PM Manmohan Singh, who faced sharp criticism for remaining a mute spectator during the 2G Spectrum Scam.

Karunanidhi got the result When the controversy regarding the legendary Sri Ram Setu Bridge was raging, the DMK supremo, Karunanidhi, stepped into mock and sneer Lord Ram. He questioned the very existence of Lord Ram and also asked from which engineering college had Lord Ram graduated. Karunanidhi also was interested in knowing the architects who designed Ram Setu. DMK chief should know that ‘Nature’, in its own way, takes a swipe. Lord Ram is revered by millions and there are miracles associated with Him. Proofs regarding His existence are available in this country, in Sri Lanka and Bali. DMK chief had hurt the religious and emotional sentiments of millions of followers of Lord Ram. He was silently cursed by each one of them. Today, he is paying a heavy price for his arrogance and foolhardiness. His political party and family are on the road to possible destruction. His peace of mind must be devastatingly shattered. What more is in store for him and his family, only Lord Ram knows!

Kalmadi arrested, Sheila scot-free I can assure you that in a corrupt environment which the UPA government has created no action will be taken against Sheila Dikshit, for the scams she is involved in. Just like nothing happened to her namesake, the former Union Minister for Urban Development Sheila Kaul. She was accused in the 1995 DDA housing scam. The CBI was ready to file a charge-sheet but since she was related to the Nehru-Gandhi family, she quickly found herself a gubernatorial berth and was soon forgotten by the country’s premier investigating agency.

Postage Problem When I did not receive the copies of Organiser weekly from 13.3.2011 to 1-5-2011 I was under the impression that Organiser office was not dispatching the copies. But on inquiry I was advised by Organiser office to lodge a complaint with the post office of Puri. When I spoke to Shri S Patro, the public relations officer of Puri post office, he assured me to solve the problem. The copies were misplaced in the post office though they were dispatched on time from Organiser weekly’s office. Through this letter I want to request the public relation officer of Puri’s post office to kindly look into the matter to trace the previous gap or negligence so that in future I get the copies of Organiser regularly.

Check conversion I have come across many cases of conversions in my neighbourhood (IIT Kanpur) by some Christian community members, by alluding people with money. I request you to stop these conversions activities and protect the Valmiki Samaj from such atrocities.I have communicated this problem to many organisations but they have not bore fruits.

What makes a good immigrant? British Prime Minister David Cameron says he wants to see “good immigration, not mass immigration” in the UK. But what exactly makes a “good immigrant”? However, let me spell it out within the constraints of “political correctness”. A good immigrant is visible to all; A good immigrant adjusts to the way of life of the host community; A good immigrant does not wish to impose own values on the others; A good immigrant learns the language of host country quickly; A good immigrant does not seek to convert the others to his own creed; A good immigrant does not threaten to turn Buckingham Palace into a mosque; A good immigrant does not kill fellow citizens on trains, buses and airports; A good immigrant does not push or impose halal meat on the others; A good immigrant does not impose his own religion on the bride from a different religion. As a gentleman he embraces the religion of the girl; A good immigrant does not commit “honour killing” if his sister marries a person of another faith; A good immigrant does not produce offspring like “rabbits” with the hidden agenda of demographic takeover; A good immigrant does not break up his country territorially to establish a new denominational country like the Islamic Pakistan that came out of the womb of a secular Mother (India); A good immigrant appreciates the sacrifices of the national armed forces but does not abuse the veterans returning home from battles; A good immigrant female does not cover up her face in public in a civilised society like a faceless spy or criminal; A good immigrant is not separatist or overbearing; A good immigrant will not aspire to keeping more than one wife at the same time; A good immigrant will not have core loyalty to a foreign location. The list is long. I believe the readers will guess who is a good immigrant.

Save the land of Adi Shankara Adi Shankara’s land is going in the hands of Christian and Muslim dominancy once more since the BJP has failed in all seats thanks to unwise Nair and Ezhava community. Being a Nair, Ramesh Chennithala, PCC president, was denied the post of chief ministership by Sonia Gandhi. A foul smell is arising in Kerala. All caste organisations among the Hindus are badly misled here and the interest of Hindus is being sacrificed. Adi Sankara may have to born again to uplift idiotic Hindus of this land.

Recent elections to State Assemblies This is a classical example where so called “minorities” are elbowing out the secular minded majority.A day is not far off when in Kerala, Assam as well as in entire Bharat the “minorities” will rule—simply because in “minority” dominated areas only those people will be elected irrespective of the party to which they belong to—where as secular minded “majority” will not vote for a party which has got minor tilt towards “majority”. This is what history tells and this is what is going on and this is going to happen in future —the so called “majority” will be made minority with no rights in future

Doles and freebies by governments Every day we hear of new scams running into crores of rupees. The big 2G Spectrum Scam of Rs. 1.75 lakh crore remained well hidden for over three years. Any amount of public outcry and anger did not bring any change. Even after the Parliament was paralysed for whole session, the government was trying to cover it up. But for Supreme Court’s and BJP’s intervention things would not have moved, and as result of it, some resignations were sought and arrests were made. This shows the deep rooted dishonesty, impurity and corruption in our system of governance, where ministers are above law, who never fall into the clutches of investigating agencies, and even if it remotely happens and they are just chargesheeted, we have a judiciary with a laid down track record where all such crimes get a decent burial. If we start narrating such corruption cases done to death, it will run to pages. This is a dirty fallacy in Indian democracy and it is because of the shameless politicians who get their mandate from the illiterate masses in many ways. Added to this, their appeasement of minority vote bank, whipping of caste and communal sentiments, distribution of money for votes are some of the secularist showmanship. The latest to this never ending list is the pronouncement of series of freebies through their election manifestos. Apart from colour TV’s, items like electric mixers, grinders, fans, etc are distributed by the government to all families in a State. Even after 65 years of Independence poverty in our country is increasing. According to the latest economic survey, 35 per cent of country’s population is below poverty line. And the corrupt political parties understands this well. Definitely a nation cannot come up if their people are made to think that they are inferior. The fate of our democracy continues in this vicious cycle; thus make way for the unscrupulous and the corrupt to come to power again and again.

Indian State elections; Minority support The results of the State elections in India has shown that regional and communal minority religious parties gained support at the expense of two main national parties namely the Congress and the BJP. The BJP’s dream of forming the next government with its former ally AGP was shattered in Assam and in four states namely Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Kerala and Puducherry they did not win a single seat and the party has been clearly rejected by voters in these states. The Congress party only in Assam did well in the Assembly elections. This was due to the fact that Opposition political parties were divided and the Congress won very easily. The All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) led by perfume baron Badrudin Ajmal which is basically a Muslim party supported by Bengali Muslims came second. The Muslim population in Assam is more than 35 per cent and they are concentrated in border areas with Bangladesh. In Tamil Nadu and Puducherry the Congress party was completely wiped out . In Tamil Nadu the Congress party got only a handful of seats and in Puducherry the Congress party lost the control of the State Assembly to splinter Congress party (NR Congress) led by Rangaswamy. In West Bengal the regional party Bangla Congress won most of the Assembly seats with the help of the Congress party which acted as a junior partner since the Congress knew that they would have got only a handful of seats if it contested all alone. Muslims who constitute more than 35 per cent of the West Bengal population supported Bangla Congress this time and they were rewarded with important positions in the State Cabinet. The national party CPM was completely wiped out in West Bengal. In Kerala the United Democratic Party ( UDF) led by the Congress party came to power with a slender majority with the help of Muslim and Christian backed parties Muslim League (MUL) and Kerala Congress. Even though Hindus are in majority, the Chief Minister’s post and other important portfolios are cornered by Muslims and Christians. In Kerala Hindus are reduced as Minorities. In short the recent election results showed that Muslims and Christians communities in Kerala and Muslims in West Bengal and Assam dictated which party should come to power and without their support the Congress party would not have come to power. In Tamil Nadu and Puducherry the regional parties won the elections at the expense of Congress and another regional party, DMK.

Clarification needed Congress Party in general and its Karnataka unit in particular has constantly been demanding and pressing hard for the resignation of both Speaker of Karnataka’s Legislative Assembly and CM Shri Yedurappa, on the eve of set a side the Speaker’s decision by Apex court for disqualifying 11 BJP and 5 Independent MLAs which had been upheld by the Karnataka High court. According to opinion of the Congress Party action initiated by the Speaker on those 16 MLA was totally wrong, unwarranted and unconstitutional. If so then the judgement delivered by two of of bench of three honourable judges of Karnataka High court which upheld the speakers action on 16 rebel MLA was also wrong, illegal and unconstitutional. Under the circumstances Congress Party has to clarify whether it has been insisting and demanding the resignation of those two judges as that of Speaker and Chief Minister, since the Judgement of Karnataka’s High Court has been made nullified by the Supreme Court.
