Indraprastha Sahitya Bharati felicitates literary persons

INDRAPRASTHA Sahitya Bharati organised a function in New Delhi on March 23 to felicitate Hindi literary persons. Swami Shyamanand Saraswati and Acharya Sohanlal Ramrang were honoured with Sahitya Bharati Samman for the year 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 respectively. The Samman consists of a citation and a memento. The literary persons who were honoured at the function included Shri Tejpal Singh Dhama (Deendayal Upadhyaya Samman), Shri Jit Singh ‘Jit’ (Nanaji Deshmukh Samman), Shri Krishnanand Sagar (Jainendra Kumar Samman), Shri Suresh Yadav (Bhavani Prasad Samman), Shri Ramchandra Thakran (Satyapal Chug Samman), Shri Vinod Babbar (Prof. Vijyendra Snatak Samman), Dr Sarojini Pritam (Kamla Ratnam Samman), Smt Sushma Bhandari (Naresh Mehta Samman), Smt Richa Sood (Gurudutt Samman), Smt Vina Agrawal (Prashant Vedalankar Samman), Shri Rajendra Raja (Acharya Jagdish Arya Samman), Shri Radhe Shyam Bandhu (Dr Ramprakash Samman) and Dr Harish Arora (Dr Ramlal Verma) Samman). Former MP Shri BP Singhal presided over the function. Mayor of Delhi Shri Prithviraj Sahni and national secretary of Sahitya Parishad Shri Pravin Arya were also present on the occasion. (FOC)
