The manipulated IP(B)L auctions, the avarice of the corporate owners of the teams, for whom money is more important than the game, the players themselves, being used and tossed around like pawns and the part-time politicians who travel simultaneously in several boats, in different costumes. The viewer normally gets to see only the glamour side of IPL with the Bollywood actors swishing around in the latest designer dresses, the high and mighty of the country rubbing shoulders with them and the cheerleaders who dance to raunchy tunes.
