LEADING educational institution of the country the Vidya Bharati has been honoured with Mahrishi Vedvyas Rashtriya Samman for the year 2009-2010. The Samman, granted by Culture Department of Madhya Pradesh Government, was received by Vidya Bharati’s general secretary Shri Narendrajit Singh Rawal in Bhopal. The Samman consists of a memento and a cheque of Rs two lakh. Founded in 1977, the Vidya Bharati today has widespread network of educational institutions all over the country. More than 74,000 teachers impart education to over 17 lakh students in more than 13,000 schools. (FOC)
