BHAORAO Deoras Sewa Nyas felicitated six young literary persons with Pt Pratap Narayan Mishra Smriti Yuva Sahityakar Samman in Lucknow on October 1. The people honoured on the occasion included Shri Arvind Kumar Sonkar (Lucknow) for poetry, Shri Dinesh Karnataka (Nainital) for story, Sushri Gitika Singh (Delhi) for child literature, Dr Mukul Srivastava (Lucknow) for journalism, Dr Dhirendra Jha (Patna) for Sanskrit and Shri Manoj Bhavuk (Noida) for Bhojpuri. The Samman consists of an idol of Goddess Saraswati, memento, and cash prize of Rs 5,000 each. Presenting the Samman zonal passport officer Shri JP Singh said the good literature brings about many changes in the society. Chief Guest of the function Dr Dinesh Sharma spoke about the personality of Pt Pratap Narayan Mishra. Senior writer Shri Vinod Shankar presided over the function.
