Many return to Hindu fold in Andhra Pradesh

In continuation of its home coming activities the Dharma Prasar Samiti of Paschim Andhra Pradesh welcomed back 300 people of 120 families on December 27. These people had adopted Christianity some years back. They belong to Keravelli, Pedda Ummentala and Manchanapalli village of Rangareddy district. The home coming ceremony was held at Krishnananda Ashram in Basireddypalli near Parigi village of the district by Pujya Krishnananda Swamy. A big yajna was conducted with twelve hom kundas. The yajna was conducted by Shri Narasinga Rao, a Vedic purohit of Arya Samaj.

Speaking on the occasion Shri Krishnanada Swamy said the doors of Hinduism are always open for those repenting for having gone out of Hinduism. He said unlike other ways of worship, Hinduism is not man-made. Apart from office bearers of the Dharma Prasar Samiti, some local people also participated in the function. Dr Devendra Reddy, Dr Balaji Rao, Shri G Bagvandas district president of VHP wished all those who returned a happy life. Shri G Durgaih, state secretary of VHP, Shri G Satyam, national joint secretary and Shri Yellaih, president of Dharma Prasar Samiti, Paschim Andhra and Shri BS Murthy, Prant Sah Pramukh of the Samiti were also present.
