Feedback The injustice heaped on Sangh

I happened to read at length the archives of the Organiser articles on the late Guruji by several authors recently. One that simply moved me was by MG Vaidya in which he has written that how Jawaharlal Nehru and his cronies in Delhi and elsewhere harassed Guruji and the RSS on the false premise that the RSS and its leadership were involved in the plotting and assassination of Gandhiji. It made me sad and at the same time furious. The assassination came in handy as a subterfuge to Jawaharlal Nehru in hounding out the RSS, albeit temporarily.

More than this unjust ill treatment and heaping of ignominy and criminal allegations that have gone on unabated since 1948, what really disturbed me was the unwarranted comparison of Guruji to Gandhiji, by the learned and venerable scholar-par-excellence, Chairman of Kannada Translation Academy Dr. Pradhan Gurudatt – the headline news item in the Organiser, August 6, 2006.

There is no need to mimic and adopt the Congressmen’s way of praising their heroes, while eulogising the Sangh leaders. Guruji was a staunch uncompromising nationalist, the epitome of high morals and principles and he can never be compared with Gandhiji, whose nature was to compromise on everything, including the sovereignty of the nation.

Political and moral correctness in the battlefield begets only death.
Coming to the topic of political correctness, one must acknowledge that however much the RSS leaders and its cadres and sympathisers sincerely eulogise and place on record their respect and love for Gandhiji – the left dominated polity – the Congress Party and its alter ego the communists – is not going to pay back in kind. In fact, every time when RSS leaders calls Gandhiji a mahatma – the leaders earns the epithets of communalist, revisionist, Hindu-fundamentalist, traitor, etc. This has been the trend for decades and is not new to the Sangh and the BJP.

BJP is not going to get a solitary vote from the Congress and Communist poisoned society by being obsequious to a Gandhiji or a Jawaharlal Nehru or an Indira Gandhi. The act of political correctness indulged in by the BJP and Sangh begets only hate, contempt and mockery. It never yielded any positive results in terms of political, social and electoral acceptance; it never shall.

Under these circumstances, why keep addressing Gandhiji as mahatma and why keep calling Jawaharlal Nehru a jewel among men, Indira Gandhi a Durga? And yet earn ignominy day after day and get routed in elections after elections? It is very nauseating and appears no different from paying jazia tax and accepting a status of a dhimmi and getting treated as kafirs and pagans-an all in one package.

One can still be politically and technically correct and lead a fearless life by just addressing them as late Mr./Mrs./Miss/ Ms if they are dead and drop the adjective ‘late’ if they are alive.

Nation building also includes defending oneself all the way while asserting oneself.

Three generations have been poisoned and ruined by a century of deceitful and conceited propaganda of Congress and its alter ego the Communists. A fourth generation is about to succumb to this. It is time for the RSS and the BJP to pull this generation out of the Congress cesspool, but ahead of that they have to get out of this cesspool first, that they have landed themselves in, by this unnecessary practice of political correctness.

Every Congress man who claims exclusive rights to Gandhiji from 1915 to this day knows that he was not exactly a mahatma and it was just a part of ‘you – scratch – my – back – and – I – scratch – yours’ game they perfected over time. RSS and BJP leaders also know this. They also know that their only date with the destiny has come and gone and are not likely to have a chance at it for a long time to come.

Under these circumstances, the only way to get in touch with the masses is to stop worshipping false prophets – late Messrs Gandhiji and Nehru and other Congress leaders and start publicising their misdeeds and those of their quislings. At the same time, the Sangh has to assert itself by projecting its own leaders, their achievements, etc. One address on Vijaya Dashami day will not do. In the Indian polity, for the Sangh, every day is a battle day and every win, if they can manage, is a Vijaya Dashami. Readers / watchers of the mainstream news papers / TV in India are more ignorant of the Sangh than a typical American or a Westerner vis-a-vis India.

Is it not time to call a spade a spade?
When the opponent runs you down with unscrupulous negative tactics, use the same to run him down. If the Sangh is not prepared to call a spade by its name, there is no alternative left other than accepting the status of dhimmi, kafir, pagan – all in one package and embracing the Congress and its imported leadership alongwith their alter ego the Communists wholeheartedly.
