The concluding ceremony of Dakshin Banga Prant Sangh Shiksha Varga was held at Tantiberia Sharada Shishu Mandir on June 4. According to Vargadhikari Shri Durgadas Raychoudhuri a total of 165 swayamsevaks from 129 places of the state underwent training at the camp.

Shri Atul Biswas, Prant Sanghchalak, delivered the keynote address. He said it is due to the propaganda by a section of the media that most of the people did not know the true picture of RSS activities. But when people come close to Sangh activities or the swayamsevaks they are convinced and start praising the RSS. “That happened to Gandhiji in 1936 when he visited the RSS camp at Wardha and exchanged views with the RSS founder Dr Hedgewar. Even Pandit Nehru was well convinced about the RSS when he saw the patriotic activities of the swayamsevaks during the Chinese invasion in 1962. Afterwards, he himself invited RSS to join the Republic Day parade in 1963 and 3000 swayamsevaks participated in the Republic Day parade at Rajpath in New Delhi. The thing repeated to Jayaprakash Narayan when he saw the relief work done by RSS in Bihar before 1975. After Emergency Jayaprakash Narayan visited the RSS camp in 1977 and blessed the swayamsevaks,” he said further adding that without patriotism and full devotion to the nation the country cannot be prosperous. He said the goal of the Sangh is to make Bharat the wealthiest country in the world.

Chief guest Dr Nitai Mandal, a well-known scientist of Basu Bignyan Mandir, spoke about the patriotic anecdotes and scientific inventions of Dr Jagadish Chandra Basu in brief. Varg Karyavah Shri Kajal Sikdar conducted the proceedings and Shri Priyabrata Sarkar proposed a vote of thanks.
