Entries invited for 15th Pt. Pratap Narayan Mishra youth award

Bhaurao Deoras Sewa Nyas has invited entries from young literary persons for the 15th Pt. Pratap Narayan Mishra Smriti award. The award had been instituted in the memory of veteran RSS Pracharak the late Pt. Pratap Narayan Mishra who was an excellent writer. The Nyas has been honouring young literary persons every year from seven different fields including poetry, story writing, play, children literature, journalism, Sanskrit and Maithili literature for the last 14 years. Each winner is presented cash of Rs 5000, a citation, memento and angavastra. According to Dr Ganeshdutt Saraswat, convener of the Selection Committee, the awards would be presented at a function to be held later this year. All the interested young literary persons below the age of 40 can send their entries for the award before July 31, 2009 at Bhaurao Deoras Sewa Nyas, Saraswati Kunj, Nirala Nagar, Lucknow- 226 020 (Uttar Pradesh).
