The death of young Pracharak in an accident in Sri Lanka on April 5 shocked the Sangh cadres across the world. In his condolence message sent to Shri Namasivayam Pillai, father of Ramesh Babu, RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat said: ?The sudden demise of Ramesh Babu shocked me beyond consolation. Owing to his hard work and proper conduct the Sangh work in Sri Lanka had just started to acquire a significant place in the life of Hindu society there. This loss is most painful and devastating for us. I can well imagine how inadequate words are to offer any solace to you and all the family members. However, what has happened can'tbe undone by any amount of mourning. We have to face the situation and attend to the duty ahead with all the courage and unflinching faith in the God Almighty.?

In her tribute, Pramukh Sanchalika of Rashtriya Sevika Samiti Pramilatai Medhe said: ?It is really an irreparable loss of a matured Pracharak for all of us. During my Sri Lanka pravas he was with me all the time. I do not have words to express my feelings.?

Sahsarkaryavah Shri Dattatreya Hosabale said: ?Really, it is a great shock to know this tragedy. I just can'timagine that the young, energetic, hard-working yet most unassuming Ramesh Babu is no more with us. His dedication and efforts could be seen in the number of shakhas and number of karyakartas attending the Varga in the trouble-torn island of Sri Lanka. In his death Hindu samaj has lost a blossoming flower in the form of a dedicated Pracharak.?

Shri Dhiraj Shah, Karyavah of Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh, UK, said: ?Ramesh Babu'ssilent and solid work in Sri Lanka was remarkable and inspirational. He had taken the work in Sri Lanka to great heights. His untimely demise is a serious blow to the Hindu organisations there. I am confident that his trained young karyakartas in Sri Lanka will take forward his work, having been inspired by his life and dedication.? Shri Ravi Kumar, Pracharak, Vishwa Vibhag, said: ?In just five years 50 shakhas, 15 Sangh Shiksha Varga-trained karyakartas, five Pracharak, Vistaraks, vistarikas and that too in a war-torne country like Sri Lanka with bad infrastructure, poor transport, no karyalaya, no proper food etc. The karyakartas in Sri Lanka feel orphaned and devastated.?
