The compiler says that India has all along been a de facto Hindu nation though it has been ruled by Muslims and Christians for nearly 1,000 years. Even today India is a Hindu nation but with the continued stress on secularism, India may once again slip into the hands of forces inimical to democracy and secularism and who may rule India as dictators, enforcing their own religious dogmas upon the Hindus. It is thus the duty of every citizen to raise his voice against adharma. He says, ?When dharma becomes a mute spectator as in Mahabharata, adharma will rule the roost, which will ultimately lead to Kurukshetra.?
