A study of Quran

The author of the book has tried to show that the Quran is perfect because it has been the endeavour of the Almighty. Had it been the effort of a human being, it would have been full of contradictions. The book has been written in a question-answer form right till the end.

In answer to a question on how Noah'sson got drowned, the Surah 11 says that Noah'sark set sail on the waves which were leaping like mountains. Noah called out to his son, who had stayed behind, ?O my son, embark with us and be not with the unbelievers?? But, the son replied that he would climb a mountain and be safe from water. Noah warned him that nothing could save him from the command of the Almighty but he did not heed the advice. The waves leapt between them and the son was among those who got drowned.

In another question, the author tries to draw a parallel between Jesus Christ and the Prophet as also between the sayings of Luqman and Aesop'sFables. Luqman was a pious man of Arab tradition and is associated with a long life. He lived so long that he reached David (about 900 years) and was appointed a Prophet.

In reply to the question regarding if Abraham stayed at Ka?ba or not, the author points out that both the Christian and Jews claim that Abraham was their ancestor. The Bible says that after the sacrificial rites of his son, Abraham returned to Bair-e-Saba where Abraham dug seven wells and planted palm trees.

Ka?ba is said to have been built by Abraham who was a monotheist till one day an influential merchant placed idols there. Subsequently it became a centre of polytheism and idolatry ?till Prophet Muhammad cleaned the idols at his conquest of Mecca in AD 630.?

This is a book which helps to remove some misconceptions and myths regarding what is written in the Quran.
